I know its tricky question but I need answer. I want to give someone my eve account in my last will. Is this legal and you (CCP) Will respect that ?

This is not a joke

Plan B would be to arrange for the sale/move of your chars to a new account. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=6369&find=unread

OTOH, you're dead and thus anyone else isn't supposed to have access to your account. Hrmmm...

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

well CCPs pending decision notwithstanding, I don't think its legal to will intellectual property belonging to someone else.

of course its a pretty gray area with technology's rapid advance, and who knows it may be a real issue for the courts having the ability to will a license to someone, but I don't think that precedent has been set yet.

it is an interesting question though

well the point is you don't own your copy of eve or any of the items ingame, so you cant actually sell or legally pass it to a 3rd party.

All you have is a license to use it, that is typically non-transferrable

try the letter, its CCPs right to do whatever they want with their IP, so if your story is compelling enough it may get you what you want.

Your best bet is to file a Petition about it.

Write down your login and password.

Then have the new owner change the payment method.

the easiest method of accomplishing this that i can think of is for the person you wish to will your

account too should open their own account and then you can transfer you character(s) to thier new

account via the account management function.

Duh! Corporations are people. Create a corporation in the US and make yourself the CEO and Director of the Board. Corporations can potentially live forever, so the corporation buys an Eve account. Transfer your toons to the corporation's account. Have the will transfer the corporation over to your inheritor, or just put your inheritor on the board of directors, or make them the primary shareholder by transferring shares upon your death.

Once again the United States of America, Inc. saves the day!

tl;dr Hire a lawyer.
