Drake 8th Missile Launcher Bay

Dear CCP,

What's the story with the 8th missile bay on the Drake? I was really hoping this was gonna get resolved with the Inferno 1.1 Drake remodelling, but it's still there, taunting me. Like "Here I am but you can never use me!"

Please can you either remove it, or let us use it? Big smile

Same with the eighth spot on the Machariel. I hate seeing Machs with 7 guns when there is so obviously an eighth spot! Evil

The 8th turret slot of the Machariel is the painfully distracting hangnail of EVE.

I would even give up the 25% RoF bonus for that extra gun... Hey CCP Blink Do it, do it.

When the Tier 2 battlecruisers were introduced they were... for better lack of a term... "monsters."

The Drake had 8 launchers.

The Harbinger had 8 turrets.

The Hurricane had 7 turrets.

The Myrmidon had 125 m/bit bandwidth.

CCP decided, in their infinite wisdom, that they were too powerful and nerfed them. The textures were already created for the ships though... which is why the Drake has that "extra" missile platform and the Harbinger has that "off" turret.

How did you Veterans start?

not to mention they need somewhere to put that offline salvager.

it will be a target painter slot..when the TP will go for highslots
