Could we pay 150% on an account in order to train 2 characters simultaneously?

Well, you could always just stay out of the pub for a few days.

Put your money saved into transferring the characters you like into one acct and cancel the others.

There you go. Three usable characters on one acct. If you only have one acct to start with, then you don't belong in my EVE.

i have 2 trained char by account, as i bough some for empire stuff while living on wh.
but now it's a pain as i can only train one, and transgering one outside and back to account cost way too much.
so would like a lot a way to train 2 char on same account, even at full price i would think about it.

Full price should definitely be possible.

Why not. I would still probably do it, or close to full price.

This way you could use plex to activate 1 month training on alt also and give CCP another plex sink they are looking for.

Maybe.

Except for the part where I don't kiss whiner ass and I don't change the direction of the game every time some brain dead neckbeard has a forum tantrum.

Make any chars on such accounts permanently non-transferrable and I'm in for this idea.

An interesting idea, though it has the distinct negative side effect of making it MUCH easier to harvest characters and RMT them.

The plex sink never made sense to me. Considering they have the plex for buddy invite and "plex for snitch" if they where so worried about having a plex sink then they wouldn't keep adding more to the mix.

If you could train 2nd character with 50% price, you would get 2x more profit when selling it.

In other words..
1) people would buy "150%" account.
2) Train their main + the alt for a year.
3) Tranfer the alt to another account.
4) Have 2 accounts with years training time but with 25% less money.

Sounds like an excellent deal for CCP. Specially the bot char farmers would be thrilled :)

this would crash the resale market in teh long term. why woudl i hold out for 10bil when im paying 50% less 5bil will do..

i have 7 accounts, with 21 trained toons. you want more toons get more accounts, otherwise GTFO

OMG when can i get a pic here

I'm not against being able to use a PLEX to train an extra character on an account for 30 days. It doesn't offer any gameplay advantage over training the character on a seperate account and transferring it to the main account, save that it's less complicated and it's cheaper. It just seems like a more sensible way of doing what we can legitimately do already.

Nice idea but this will just result in more supercap pilots clogging the spacelanes.

Good idea.

To kill the character farming just have characters trained on the 150% deal non-transferable, so it remains nothing more than a convenience for players for whom it would be a convenience.

I for one would appreciate being able to train on the same account for twice the money, simple. Saves me the hassle of logging on/off characters whenever I have to switch skill training. Also saves me the hassle of getting together API keys for stuff like EFT.

Most of the alts in EVE are surely alts that are supposed to be played with their respective mains and other alts. But some, like me, have one alt with a blackops char and a wormhole Tengu alt on the same account. I'd never use those simultaneously, so why put them on another account?

Um, assuming the $/SP rate was constant as per my suggestion, this wouldn't affect character farming at all.
