what part of going up against each other, was i going up against anyone?

i tried to warp, died, tried to warp, died.

not much to it really.

it wiped me of over 100 million in implants and set my training back days. and because i was trying to mine and skill up.

what part of player v player do you call that?

oh i undocked so i gotta lose my training time?

...... like i say. stay logged out to train.

nice game for newbies, stay logged out. cos otherwise everyone going to gank you and do anything they can to ruin your training time?

have fun with this.

This one time I caught a really big spider and ripped off its legs on only one side and kept it as a pet.

And this other time I found this centipede and impaled it with a needle through a piece of cartboard, which I then soaked in acetone. ^_^

Some people swat a pesky fly but I like to catch them alive, rip off their wings and feed them to other insects like spiders in my basement. Nothing quite as fun as flinging a living fly into a spider's web.

I also like to buy my fish alive because nothing beats fresh fish and watching it slowly die as I gut it cm by cm is almost as tasty as the dish.

I do miss my python however. Feeding it rats, mice and frogs was always a great way to make my day a rainbow doused chocolate cake.

Speaking of fish, you should try throwing a living fish into an ant's nest.

I like animals but pigeons not so much. One time when I worked a part time job as a student some idiot caught a pigeon and put it in a box to take home with him. He was into pigeons like, he kept them as pets. Me and another guy decided to use the boxed pigeon as a football. Many lulz were had when the box opened and the tears started flowing.

I like cats though. That is to say, I like my own cat. Not so much other people's cats. Hey, I got a riddle for you. How do you throw a cat off a balcony without touching it? You use a laser pointer, stupid.

Sometimes, I like to stop and think about the living organism's I've hurt. Sometimes, I like to think of the people I've ganked or griefed or scammed in video games. But then I just lol.

I used to have this job where I had to deal with death often. There is tragedy, and there is HTFU. Like, people who try to steal copper wire off a high voltage transfo. That guy's funeral must have been an epic lulz-fest.

i imagine it doesnt make much money for CCP either. since i cancelled my sub right afterwards.

learning experience for me yes, but sadly, nobody else is going to learn from it.

quality of the game > size of the revenue.

you're clearly not the target market for the game, so i doubt they'll really care.

That's the EvE spirit! When the going gets rough, the rough, quits. Well, after you whine first. Is this what happened the first time you lost at monopoly? You're going to have a rough go doing anything competitive.

At least quit for a cool reason, like:

The moderators on the forum aren't nice to my threads. They touch it in the bad place.

Protip: You aren't making a lot of money, just more than you should be for the risk involved and the "skill" required.

With gank ships being cheap, and on top of that being paid back and more, combined with the potential of high value salvage providing plenty of incentive to gank these ships, further evidenced by the number of people doing so, how do you conclude that the risk is too low for the reward?

You cannot profitably gank a properly tanked Hulk.

EDIT: And you can't gank a properly attentive and prepared miner at all.

Like my Rokh with enough tank to make it a loss for gankers to kill it.

niche in that killing unarmed pods to reduce newbies skill up time is considered pvp and competition. ;)

its the fact that you would go to the extent of podding a miner too, just to grief the **** out of my training times, knowing that i cant insure my implants, and that it cost me a lot to get them.

its enough to put me off my sub, i can see it does the same to a lot of others.

If only you spent a fraction of the time you are spending whining right here on learning how to insta-warp with a pod...

It's extremely hard to get podded in hi and low sec, but it requires to make some practice not to go pester the forums.

definately not trolling. that is simply the truth of it. attacking miners in high sec and podding them and then calling it "niche" "quality pvp" "competition" is the troll there.

I know what's he's trying to say:

Pods should drop implants as well. I mean, I think podding someone and taking the corpse back to a station for some one on one fun is a good enough reason, but if that's not your thing there should be other rewards.

If you're not trolling, then the issue is you're missing the bigger picture. The rash of highsec destruction is not solely based in screwing up your day. It's about profits, manipulation, and power.

Honestly, quitting was probably a good call for you, cause space is cold.
