Long Haired Males..?

Hate to bring out the frayed whip again but this has been bugging me since Incarna first came out. Is there some cultural taboo against men with long hair unless it's dreadlocks in the distant future/galaxy far far away..?

I know this is sort of a moot point to bring up (again) with the vast array of other things that could be done with developer time. It sort of irks me mostly because I am a metal-head in real life and it's practically part of the job, lol. Fanfest 2012 had a thing about racial mixing, but I honestly hope to god I don't have to mix Amarr just to get the hairstyle I prefer for my chosen character.

So, in essence, is there any word of this being implemented at all? Is there any chance of it happening what with skin-tones and sleeve tattoos being mentioned..?

No reason not to have all the hair styles unlocked for everyone now that we have 'unlocked' skin tones and hair colour for all races/bloodlines.

I've always found it incredibly silly that the long, wavy hairstyle isn't available to all males, because it damn well should be. That hairstyle is the natural consequence of not cutting your hair.

Anyway, yes, I think that we really should have unlocked clothing sets and hairstyles. Seems pretty stupid that only certain bloodlines would have such selective culture; but even then it wouldn't have been entirely bred out of the genome.

Then again, Capsuleers aren't exactly your average every day people either.

From a lore perspective, long hair would be kind of nasty when your spend most of your time in an acceleration gel filled capsule

Glad this thread revived itself.

Honestly though, I'm sick of conforming to society. I'm a capsuleer who lives in Null-sec where (according to allegation) the rules are made by me and my own. Yet, for some reason, it's taboo to have long hair and male genitals.

I claim racism.
