Capital ships

I had a long post explaining everything out in great detail but it was lost and I am frustrated so I am just gona make this short and sweet.

Everyone in eve is first and for most a sub capital pilot.
There are a select few that have chosen to become a capital pilot.
There are even fewer that have dedicated themselves to becoming a super capital pilot.

It occurs to me that how few people realize or understand how to fit a ship properly. As any experienced player can testify the vast difference between a well fit ship and not.
It also occurs to me how few people realize how big of a difference there is between level 4 and level 5 skills. This can only be understood through experience and hands on knowledge.
It occurs to me even more so how many people don't understand a ships purpose, what its defined role is.

This brings me to my point, how few people understand how a capital ship is fit and how many few still understand how a super carrier is fit or even fewer still realize how a titan is fit.

Carriers are a massive logistics platform with massive drone capabilities. T2 fit is proper although faction fits are seen on a pve carrier at times.
Super carriers take this to another level with about 10x the RAW hp over a carrier. Faction and officer fits proper with very few t1 or t2 items fitted.
Titans are doom and destruction, they don't suffer from a tracking penalty and are fitted with some of the best modals eve has to offer them.

Do I think they need a balance? Slight but not what most are calling for. I believe that call is from lack of understanding and knowledge. If you don't know you can't do better.
I will not divulge the knowledge that has been entrusted in me on how to properly fit super capitals but I will say that many don't know and have ill conceived notions. As many of you know, a high end modal can make a huge difference in a ships performance, that doesn't change when you look at a super capital. You just see alot more of those modals on those ships.

I don't think you said anything that wasn't already abundantly clear.

it occurs to me even more that i have just wasted time in reading this and posting.

He also had a longer post.

Would this longer post have been just as pointless?

not everybody who plays this game wants to fly a super car or tit. nor do they want to trap a char into one either.

and better yet, allot of people can't afford the tears if/when they was to ever lose one.

What many of you are failing to understand here is that capitals don't need a lot of balancing, a few tweaks here and there I agree but they are fine the way they are. What is needed is that those that don't understand them need to let them be.
Lack of understanding and lack of knowledge go hand in hand with messing with something that wasn't broken in the first place.

I think it's become abundantly clear, both to the majority of the playerbase and to CCP, that supercapitals are broken and badly so. The fact that they're dedicating part of an expansion to fixing the problem is evidence of this. Whining and crying to the contrary isn't going to change the facts.
