Strictly on a numbers game I'm going to go with them. We can hold it down like the battle of Thermopylae but we'll lose the war.

Thermopylae was lost, but the Persians were soundly defeated at Plataea. So yes, the Greeks won the war.

Granted, they were fighting a man who had the sea whipped for its insolence. Guess he was the original Emorager.

Eve already won. It won long ago. Do you think a game like this would exist and be successful in a just world?

Lost the battle but won the war. Not really sure what's wrong with my mind these days, it's not quite dyslexia but some general jumbling of information.

That happens when you study too many things and then don't bother to keep up on any of them because you've moved on to something else. My experience anyway. Blink

Greeks beat the Trojans after a ten year siege, and they needed a big horsie to do it.

Aneas was the Last Trojan and the first Roman.

The Romans did a good bit of Greek Pounding in their day.

The Trojans beat the Greeks.

Then it was the Germans' turn. And so on. I don't see the Greeks getting another turn any time soon.

I dunno they look pretty worked up about something.

Romans where not from Troy, I mean really folks. Don't believe everything you read in ancient documents written by the men who claim to be descendants from epic legends.

The Romans did survive though and subsequently morphed into the Byzantines.

Really. Shocking. Sometimes, it's not worth letting facts get in the way of a good story.
