Investing in Eagles/Rails/Hybrids???

With the new hybrid buff coming out you think it would be worthwhile to invest in Eagles and 425mm Rails and Stuff? Their dirt cheap right now so the only place for them to go is up.

Or maybe I'm just kidding myself

The Eagle and other Caldari ships with Optimal Range bonuses to Hybrid Turrets will never be as popular as the Thorax and other Gallente ships with Damage bonuses to Hybrid Turrets, even after the presumed hybrid buff.

They may get a slight bump but that will normalize depending on the degree of the buff. Certainly anything that can be manufactured by players will remain in a competitive market and margins will inevitably return to pre-buff levels. That which can not be created by players, and top of the line player-created has the most potential to go up and stay up.

IMO, I would not expect a long term increase across the hybrid spectrum of more than 20%. There are too many other long term trades that can clear far more with a lot less guess work.

The event is probably worth a small position, but I would not bet the farm.
