Same issue here, even with single client.
I uses to have around 120-150fps when alone in space camping on a celestial.
After the patch fps dropped to 60-30 with nothing happening around me.
Funny thing is, when opening the options screen the fps skyrocket back to the old value.

I have also noticed a drop in FPS and I'm running a single client.

I confrim this issue as I get this even on a single client, the framerates were reduced before this patch but now its even worse and it is significantly. Even if I turn off shadows, hdr, post procesing (which I hadnt problem with these before) and its no difference.

More or less same issue

Running 4 clients.
2x fixed windowed 1920/1080 - 2x windowed 1280/1024

After a while, all clients freeze for 5-15 seconds every time when doing these things:
Undocking
Warping
Docking
Jumping (including jumping to cyno)

relogging all clients fixes the issue for half an hour or so.

ram usage not unusual, 2 main clients eating 1,4gb, other 2 eating 700-800meg

gfx should be good enough, you sold it to me for 20 plex.

Before this patch, I could easily run all clients + have another windowed game from steam running without issues.

Same thing with a corpmate, he can no longer run eve as it's too sluggish. His theory is that the game is using much more memory now than before and his laptop crawls to a halt.

All games have QQ, but only Eve has Q.Q

As Snorlax said, we're investigating. It would really help if people experiencing this issue told us how many clients they're running, how much RAM they have and what type of video card. Either as a reply to this post or in a bugreport.

Thanks

HD6870 and 4gb of ram. Single and dual client.
single around 60-30 fps, same with dual client.

Before patch the single client has around 120-150fps,
dual client both had around 80-60 in average.

Like i wrote before it is odd, that the fps go back to normal when i hit escape to open the options menu.
When i close options the fps drop down again.

Yeh I also forgot to mention that by hitting escape as Tarselis said but more significantly when I hit key shortcut to hide all UI windows when making screenshotsm the game immediately starts to go pretty much smoothly again.. most of the time. I wondered if it could be caused by the new UI (Unified Inventory) which I really like so I dont want that old one back but It probably needs to be tweaked a little bit.

And I am running single client mostly, 4GB RAM, and graphic card ATI Radeon HD 4650.

Radeon HD 6870, latest catalyst drivers, 16gb RAM, single client, dual monitor setup with large fixed window spanning two screens.

A maybe interesting bit is that despite the drop in FPS the fans on the graphics card do _not_ go as fast as they used to (that is, it seems like the card is underused).

In my case it seems not a RAM problem, as loading times are as snappy as usual and I do not notice any swapping.

Somehow the game or windows tells my GFX Card to go into idle mode after i started second client. I can clearly hear how my card gets really really quiet. With "interval" immediate the fan of my card was usually running at max noise level.

3 Clients running, slowdown starts soon after and keeps on going until unplayable.
Tried with 2 clients running with more or less the same result.

Run www.speedtest.net without clients running and get just over 18mbs downstream. Run the same after clients have started every 5 or so mins over a period of 30mins to 1 hour and my downstream starts to quicky decrease each time i try it to the extent my downstream sits around 0.3mbs with 3 clients running. Downstream goes back to normal within a minute of eve closing down.

i have 2 pcs, one intel/Nvidia based, Second one ATI/AMD.

the ati/amd setup gets hit FAR worse than the nvidia set up, i think this is mainly because the nvidia/intel is a monster pc and can just buldoze trough whatever this bug might be.

AMD details:
this is my main EVE pc, runs 7 clients.

12gb ram
AMD phenom II 1090T 3.2ghz
VGA is an ATI 5870 1gb ram.
setting are all to minimum. (using the memory preset)

VGA load actually goes down when the bug triggers, cpu load stays at regular levels. BUT everything else using the CPU actively slows down too. for example i usally watch movies or series on this pc while all the clients run on second monitor, once the bug triggers all load remains the same but the video rendering on VLC begins to skip frames and shows artifacts.

Intel Details
i run only one client on this pc.
16gb ram
i7 2600k
nvidia 580x2 SLI
setting all to max

both pcs running windows7 64bits, both pcs running the client windowed.

the AMD rig, goes from around 60fps on all clients down to 5 - 8fps. the same thing happens if i use only one client. it goes from 60 to 5 - 8fps.

the intel pc goes from a steady 60fps, down to 30fps, but the game feels way too laggy as if i were on one of those "old" nullsec 500 vs 500 fights.

worth noting is that the clients do not crash, so theres no crash report to show.

Same issue here, and I just upgraded from an nvidia 460 GTX to a monster 670 GTX and i actually have worse performance than before, by a mile, ever since inferno 1.1 patch. I can actually load more clients to the eve splash login screen than before with this 670 GTX, a whole lot more, than I could with the 460 GTX, with no slow down, I did that as a test. The GTX 670 is vastly superior.

Once i'm logged in though, performance is far worse and the game appears to have a stutter, like it is freezing a few times per second, this is if i load even less clients than i was capable of loading before, without any issue.

Even if i load 3-4 clients and it started off smooth, performance decreases greatly over time.

I don't believe this problem has to do with multiple clients, but rather opening multiple clients simply compounds the issue.
I get this major slowdown on a single client. Graphics settings have almost no effect on FPS. I'm running 8 GB DDR3 RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670, and Core 2 Duo 2.93 GHz.

Correct, I had 60fps in space (would drop to smooth 30 when in a fight, but I was fine with that). Now, in space I get a choppy 45-60 and it drops to around 15-20 after system jump. All from one client.

Intel i5 650 @ 3.2GHz (ASUS)
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
9500GT 1Gb (I know, crap card, but as I said earlier, the worst I would get was a smooth 30fps before 1.1 patch)
8Gb RAM
Latest drivers (double checked them last night to be sure)

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

I was running at 30 fps, I pressed escape to goto options screen as many as suggesting, several clients at once. Then i went out of that back into normal overview again and now my performance has taken massive hit ,down to 10-15 fps.

This is on a AMD phenom 965, 16GB ram, 670 GTX, beast of a machine that can run many EVEs at splash screen with no slow down atall, and we all know splash screen hogs resources than the actual game does logged in. I can only run half as many clients logged in.

Something is broken for sure.

My Mac is effected as well.

iMac 27", Mid 2011
3.1Ghz Intel Quad Core i5
16GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB graphics
Mac OSX Lion 10.7.4

It really feels like single client is worse but the problem is deeply shown when running two, then it shows its exponentially worse over time.
