So much "snipping", "fixing" and deleting...

Stay out of C&P....please...
it is pathetic trying to bring manners to this part of the forums...
C&P is as much about "personal attacks" as it is about bad language and part time trolling.

Do not interfere in this habitat and do not endanger the endemic species...greenpeace may hunt you down for that...

What part of "posting on Eve Forums is a privilege and not a right" do you not understand? Also, what makes you think C&P forums are some special snowflake that should be treated any different from the rest of the forums?

You know...I really do not care where I post...C&P posters WILL find a platform to exchange intel, smack and accusations some way or another. This place is hardly the place where intel or serios stuff is exchanged...it is just a place to troll...NOTHING else. If this is taken away then it will happen whre it did before CCP put up these fancy forums....f+u+c+k the privilege and f+u+c+k the warm and happy place.
C&P is that special place because most of the guys here stay in these section and don´t spam the others with rude language (as I said befor it is a habitat with endemic species) . There is just another modus vivendi in here if you compare it to GD for example...

By "relevant pieces", surely you're not referring to the multiple instances of foul language, personal attacks, posting of personal conversations and other breaches of forum rules? There's nothing that was moderated out of that thread that needed to be there. The bottom line is, and CCP and their ISD's have made this abundantly clear, posting is a privilege with a set of rules you are required to follow in order to maintain that privilege. The garbage that was edited out of that thread deserved to be edited out. In fact, were CCP and their ISDs as heavy handed as the forum whiners here and in GD claim they are, that entire thread would have disappeared or been locked after the first page.

so...why would a troll like you bother to leave his excrements in a section of the forums that is one of the few where people are actually quite honest to each other, work on a kind of unwritten code of honor between scumbags and into the bargain are relatively polite to each other.
Every rule needs the exception, otherwise the system does not work. C&P is merely a playground that people adapted to NOT BOTHER people that post in other forum parts.

What happened in GD had way more to do with a bunch of whiny, over-entitled, emo forum-warriors crying all over themselves than it did with overbearing moderation. You should know, your main account paid the price of not following rules or, failing that, displaying even a small amount of restraint, decency or etiquette. CCP is doing the right thing by purging the EVE Forums of the kind of mindless drivel that has plagued them for as long as most people can remember.
