The Ultimate Feature and Idea for General Discussion by Corporations and Alliances

Let me just see what's wrong with my imaginary world of perfect.

The following simple changes would fix everything wrong in the game and make everyone happy at the same time.

Add more types of corporate taxes, with separate settings for each type. A refine tax that gets sent to corp deliveries in whatever station the ore was refined in. NPC corps tax at 11%. A sales tax that gets added to a wallet of the corporation's choosing. NPC default at 5%. A loyalty point tax, NPC default at 11%. This would make player corporations more appealing and give them more avenues for corporate profit, making it easier to implement SRP's and encouraging teamwork, and even an acceptance of carebears in lowsec/nullsec organisations.

NPC station sales correlated to constellation sales volume, encouraging the decentralization of trade hubs. I can't believe those silly NPC's never thought of capitalizing on the trade volume they have in certain constellations, or incentivizing sales in less used areas of their territory.

Move all mid ores to lowsec, so that Highsec only contains veldspar and scordite.
1.0 has regular veld
0.9 has +5% veld
0.8 has +10% veld
0.7 has regular scord
0.6 has +5% scord
0.5 has +10% scord
It's quite convenient that there's 6 levels of hisec systems and exactly 6 low end ores. Bots can eat it. Players will now have incentive to work together for profit. New players will have incentive to not become hisec carebears.

Add Tradeable killrights to promote a more player controlled hisec police force. Killrights redeemable for whole corps. Players notified when their killrights are traded. Bounties changed to never pay more than a player's clone is worth. Implants included. If a player has a billion isk bounty, and their clone is only worth 20m, then the collector of the bounty gets 19m, and the bountied player now has a bounty of 981m.

Add level 1 pirate agents to hisec, add level 1 and 2 pirate agents to lowsec. Allow agents to be leased for Sov null stations, dependent on owning corporation's standings toward an NPC corp excluding level 5's. Slightly lower the LP rewards for L4's in Hisec, but leave level 4's there. Modify the NPC standings tables so that each Empire faction is +1.0 to at least 1 pirate faction. Level 5's remain Lowsec only. Allow players to view each other NPC's standings, except this time require us to press a button to load that section.

Disallow bubbles on NPC Nullsec stargate and station grids. Allow each corp to have one cyno beacon and 2 jump bridges in NPC lowsec or nullsec space, requiring faction standings. Boost NPC Nullsec ores. NPC nullsec should be a place that industrialists and even carebears can live in as well. NPC nullsec should be almost lucrative as Sov Nullsec, with solo/small gang friendlier mechanics. Allow some sort of tax to be collected by a dominant entity in NPC 0.0 and maybe even lowsec. They'd receive up to 5% of all taxed LP, ore, or bounties. Of course their domination of said NPC space would require them to have standings with that NPC, and something like an IHub in a deadspace area behind a gate, with no POS, that you can ignore, and accept your overlord's tax, or form up, and try to take over.

The tradeoff for avoiding war and detection by being in an NPC corp becomes lowered income, no matter your profession. The tradeoff for staying in hisec becomes lowered income for massively increased safety. The incentive to try something other than mining in a 0.5 or mission running in a 0.7 becomes finding a corp to join in low/null to further your career. Instead of the Nullsec Blocs yelling on teamspeak for you to train up a certain ship for an alarm clock Op at 3:30AM in your timezone, they'd not mind you dumping ore, LP, and isk into their coffers to fund their PVPers. Everybody wins.

If someone craps in your sandbox: 1. Light it on fire 2. Grab your shovel 3. Throw it back at them.

It's not trolling. It's just I forsee it being seen as trollbait whether or not I write trollbait on it. Just notifying those who were going to mad, that they were going to mad before they madded. I really think it's a good set of features that everyone will like in some way or another.

give it a day or so, because sooner or later some ISD will lock this for ranting or simply because he only understands 20 works in the entire post

It's odd that nobody has anything to say about this. No positive, no negative? This is GD for chrissakes.

obviously your post is far too vanilla for EVE-O GD, this is a harsh cold universe of tyrannical moderation and your post is simply too tame to arouse the interests of people armed with torches and pitchforks

come back in a day or two when the actual mods hand out bans to us all and you'll have all the attention you crave

This must mean it's a good idea if nobody's raving extreme in one direction or the other. I'll put it in F&I next, if nobody can refine the idea. WTF is stenssoned?

Not sure if taking away ALL of the midgrade stuff is necessary, I'd leave a few pockets here and there of mid stuff for high-seccers to fight over. I'd like see a boost to the refine rate in null. As it is you are punished for refining in nullsec.

Get rid of concord, allow faction navies and FW pilots to patrol their space. Make it so the longer you survive, the better the navy gets, so they eventually kill you. Add in real bounty hunting system, where those placing the bounty can set conditions (must have body, yes or no?). Allow players the opportunity to biomass the corpse of dead players for a chance to recover valuable implants. Corp wide killrights are great, but only for non-npc corps.

Nullsec doesnt need more jumpbridges

Each constellation is ranked by its trade volume. Those with higher volume, have a much higher tax, those with lower volume have a much lower tax. Therefore encouraging people to sell their goods in the middle of buttfuck nowhere.
