PI Suggestion: auto resource routing.

It's silly to have to route resources from storage depot/launch pads to processors.

the required resources should be automatically routed once a schematic has been chosen for a processor.

and miner's should automatically dump resources into the depot.

keep the option so if we have 2 depots/pad, we can choose which one they go to, but it should automatically go to the closest one by default.

I agree with this. If the click fest of setting up routes has to remain, at least make it easier to visually tell if routes are already setup, with like a mouseover or something.

and remove those annoying UI transition when we route or change schematics (i.e. slides in and fades)

How about, for starters, re-sizeable windows for seeing what you've got socked away in a storage facility/launchpad, among other things?

but IF they care, an API adding would be nice Attention

But luckily CCP has PI above UI as a priorety, or shuld I say below, and ince the don't care about UI, U go figure Ugh

To add to all that was requested (though yeah, mouse-over shows you stuff):

A "repeat last cycle" button for all extractors - or make the actual planetary structures a lot more visible with lines pointing out to the atmosphere (It's a pain to find factories on lava planets) :/

It is kind of a mess. Either you already have a static route set, or you're already combining input into a storage unit to be dispersed again.

I can see someone wanting to choose to which container the goo goes to, but processors should just take the materials they need from the nearest connected storage without needing routed. Might have to rework the way paths are handled, though, since you couldn't precisely predict how much material would always run through every line if it was automatic.
