12 mill an hr is the PvE average in EVE.

I barely do pve but when I do I make 30 times that per hour, no sweat.

Risk vs reward though, innit?

Mining (hisec) about 10 Mill an hour
Ice mining (hisec) about 5 Mill an hour
Missioning about 5 Mill an hour
PI (low sec) 15 mill a week

The main thing is, am I having fun? Besides if I had lots of ISK, what would I buy? Since I could buy PLEX and have billions tomorrow, its rather a pointless measure really.

I'm a rat, Eve is a Skinner box; as long as I get the cheese now and again I'm happy. Are you happy? if not, wrong Skinner box, sorry I mean MMO :)

Also, aside from my half assed attempt to troll, to answer your previous question with some more detail, in either the last fanfest or the one previous (I cannot remember which) Dr. Eyjog said the average player had about 600m isk.

This matches somewhat other statements from CCP Diagoras so instead of asking how much you make, which is actually very tricky for some people to calculate for a variety of reasons including escrow, cost of goods in production, inventory etc. do some math here based on this average and come to your own conclusion.

IIRC that statistic is actually the average amount each character has in it's wallet.

Given the number of cyno alts, forum alts, trading alts, lvl4 alts... It's generally a pretty useless statistic without any back ground information on how the figure was reached.

And I would love to see CCP release more data on how they come to the figures they release, especially if they began linking accounts via IP address and allowing for alts in the statistics they publish. As it stands though quite a lot of the statistics released by CCP are relatively worthless for us to use, although I'm assuming they use considerably more accurate data themselves.

2-4b a month trading, which takes about 20 hours during the month. Not terribly good, but enough for my playing habits.

~passively - 100m a day from a low impact PI operation
~actively - 50-100m a hour sleeper loot and site dependent

Don't do this. I love the Proteus to death but its just no where near as good as a Tengu for PvE.

Just get a carrier if you're spending more than a bil

Just takes about:

+6 months to train drones and have them effective/not top but very good skills -unless you want strict minimum to just move stuff around and profit capital ships skill for Drednaught.

Train capitals + carrier dedicated skills like jump drive op etc, cyno 5, portal generator etc another 6 months

Then be ready to go rep POS or play holy priests in space, no thx. Rather put a good bil in a nice ship (Tengu) and have very good fun with. (training stirct minimum thou but only to move stuff and "tactical logistics reconf" it's a "no way' on my book
