Sell Orders

Our explorers come across a wide variety of WHs, some of them uninhabited. We also act as brokers for unaffiliated explorers who wish to sell WHs. To see our available WHs or post one for sale, simply go to wormholesales.com. The use of our website is free. Once you have selected one that you like, evemail the seller with your offer. Once the two of you have agreed on a price, join the CAPLF WH Sales channel in-game and ask for a broker. The broker will mediate and escrow the trade, including any caps, POSs, and POCOs included in the sale. Our broker fees are 10% of the final sale price; generally each side pays half of this fee. NOTE: This fee is not refundable.

FAQ:
Q: Is WH "X" still available?
A: Only the seller can answer that, I'm afraid. But chances are if it's been a few days and they haven't responded to you, they're either not serious about selling it or have already sold it and neglected to remove the listing.

Q: I want a very specific kind of WH. Can you contact me personally when one is available?
A: Our brokers are not expected to monitor the website, which is the only place our WHs are available. It is up to you to use the site to find the WH you want. We will get involved after that.

Q: Which CAPLF pilots can broker or act as a third party for me?
A: Join the CAPLF WH Sales channel and ask for a CAPLF broker. If one is available, they will assist you on the spot. If not, you may evemail brokers to help (that channel's MOTD has a list of currently active brokers). If you have arranged with a particular broker to help you but that broker is not online when the other party is ready to trade, you are welcome to solicit another CAPLF. If all else fails, evemail me. I check my evemails frequently, even when not in game, and can conduct proxy trades remotely. NOTE: We DO NOT endorse any third party except for CAPLF brokers (ALL approved CAPLF brokers will be listed in our MOTD). If someone in the channel answers up to act as a broker and they are not listed in the MOTD, please ignore them and evemail me immediately.

Q: I want the hole but am not ready to move in at this time, can you leave an alt in there?
A: Not usually. However, this can easily be remedied by buying the WH and then placing your own scanner alt in it until such time as you can move in. If this is not possible and you do not want to lose the WH to time or another buyer, the pilot selling the hole may be able to work something out, for a price.

Q: What kinds of entrances are available?
A: This depends on the WH and dumb luck. Sometimes the seller can find a highsec, sometimes only a null is available. Sometimes the available entrance is very small and cannot fit larger classes of ships. The nature of the entrance will be made clear to you before you transfer any ISK.

Q: I want a quick sale, can you buy a WH from me and sell it on your own?
A: As a general rule, we are not interested in this kind of arrangement. But the website has a rather large audience.

Q: My buyer/seller and I are in different TZs - can you help?
A: Absolutely. We will conduct what we refer to as a proxy trade, which is done mostly through contracting and evemails. It incurs no additional fee beyond our 10%. Your broker can explain how this process works in more detail.

Q: Can you remove my listing on the WH website? I lost my code and am tired of getting evemails about it.
A: Yes. Just contact a broker.

Q: Are you still associated with Taggart?
A: Nope! We are independently owned and operated. We recommend that you do not do business with Taggart or any of its pilots.
