It was the only HAC that was clearly distinct from it's navy hull counterpart, and if continuity was the goal then why not just add to the other HAC models instead of stripping the vaga model? CCP puts a lot of work into graphics, but like seriously....do you actually PLAY your own game?

The only ships that were too dark for some people were the Amarr ships. Now the Gallente, Caldari, and especially the Minmatar ships are too bright. And Amarr stations are now bright white mostly because of solar reflection (V3 stations CCP!).

And the problem with the Amarran ships wasn't the brightness in the first place, it was the saturation. There was no depth or distinction to the color, so it just all devolved into a brownish, muddy mess. It's a shame considering they had extremely bold and/or colorful paintjobs up until this point.

It was really just a lazy effort to reskin the Vaga with as little effort as possible.
