i am quite interested how many of the players that started with me 2003 are still active. "Yarr" here if you are still playing.

Yesterday I was in a discussion with 3 other guys from 2003. They were in Chribba's channel. Hence I got the impression that there are actually "a lot" of veterans (some even from beta) around. Some are playing with new characters however, because they biomassed or sold the original ones at some point.

I quit for 3 years and failed :)

Started 22 May 2003, wasn't on beta - and I fail on the date too since I'm told that was the EU release date, so I dunno now. It was two days before the only rollback in the game's history; about a week after UK release.

Hell if I hadn't been fed up at work and taken the afternoon off to go in town for some beer I'd probably never have bought Eve. Strange world.
