I don't know what is going on with your launcher and patching, but all that "downloaded files are corrupt and unusable" error is getting old real fast.

Either fix whatever is broken with your stuff, or post the direct download link to the patch like you used to do. People shouldn't have to re-download the entire friggin client every time you guys put out a major patch just because you can't fix the damned launcher.

People say people in EVE are more mature and complain less.

Forums are exactly same as WoW forums and players complain ever more.

You are almost implying that the error wasn't in your connection and computer. "People" are not re-downloading the entire client, you are.

Others just launch EVE, and press play.

Dude, your Net.framework

Be sure he's fully updated, be sure you've got exceptions created in your AV and FW, don't download several things at same time etc and etc. Check your internet. Use Launcher, yada yada

Mine doesnt'. And I think I'm not alone in this.

This bug makes you re-donwload the entire 672mb patch over and over again. Repair tool is not fixing anything at all.

The only solution is downloading the entire client again.

Might not be a problem with the launcher, might be a problem with someything else? What makes you think it's the launcher at fault? If it is, maybe a petition to tech support or a post in the issues section of the forums instead of a GD whine thread would help more?

I'm not saying it's not working for everyone, otherwise there wouldn't be 9k people logged in atm. But it is an issue that IS affecting some people.

Also, implying that it's my connection is also fail, unless my connection only magically fails when it's trying to d/l major patches for EVE, and yet is perfectly fine with the smaller patches.

Launcher hasn't worked for me since early april. Have to use the repair tool to patch then the exe.exe file to start the game

Why a switch on/off? Because the new animation doesn't add anything to gameplay and it's graphically annoying. In other words, it's worse than bad: it's useless. Simple as that. - Kina Ayami

last time this happened I tried the repair tool, it managed to "repair" the client into the ground, unable to patch the client but making the client think it's patched.

everything's updated, I've just about tried everything, including turning AV and FW off, same thing.

Fact of the matter is, this only happened with the last couple large patches for me, while all the other smaller patches went through just fine. I doubt my system or my connection is discriminating against specific patches from CCP -_-
