Why did the MINISTRY OF SILLY UI DESIGN designed that thing this way?

Is it intentionally hard to use to see if the user is a human and not a bot?

Can't let this fall off CCP's radar. (Insert number of days here) days and Unified Inventory is still garbage...

Just a bump since the unified inventory is still garbage.

It's a pain when you forget to make sure you have less than three inventory windows open before you log out. In my case I almost always have ships, items, and corp hangar open while docked, plus potentially ship cargo bay as well. If I leave three or more up when I log off, when I log back on none of the windows ever load until I cycle it with an undock. There were a couple times where it was bugged so severely that undocking wouldn't fix it and I'd see nothing (including my own ship, station, planets, sun, etc.) on overview or in space and docking through context menu wouldn't fix it either.

CCP just has a hard on for this new unified inventory crap, but least you can do is fix the bugs if you refuse to revert back to a working system.

Shame this thread is still running because the new junk ui is still junk.My own personal pet hates are the useless values applied to the contents in inventory. This also slows down the selling of looted crap that I salvage after running a mission. And the other is the opening of my cargo hold when I loot a wreck. Why? A pointless excercise and adds to the lag ingame.Point and click selling from my last haul took over 10 minutes time spent waiting for the window to catch up with all the crap it wants to tel us.

I have grown fond of the new UI. it has its flaws, but the filters are great and shift-click for windows works well.

when using the right click menu they should open in a new window unless you can shift click that.

- open corp hangar directly
- open ships hangar directly
- open your station item hangar directly

Don't forget
should be added to the right click menu
- open fuel bay of ship right clicked if possible.
- open your ship bay (of carrier / super ect. ) right clicked if possible.
- open corp hanger (of carrier / super ect. ) right clicked if possible.
- open drone bay of ship right-clicked right clicked if possible. (cause frankly having to get into a ship to take some drones out of its bay is silly.)

I understand that the code needed to be cleaned up, but jacking up the front end (what we see in game) isn't acceptable.

CCP needs to consider reverting back to the windows and buttons pre-Inferno with the new code they're pushing.

It's really just amazing that they're still piling crap on top of this terrible inventory system.

Primary windows, secondary windows. extra neocom buttons etc... and it still doesn't function remotely as well as the old system.

Can we please scrap this entire pile of garbage already!

AT least give drones and fuel bays and corporate bays back on the right click menue JFC !

Counter-intuitive UI unlike the previous, established, one. (exception: filters)

Please think about all the suggestions from posters above, CCP.

I need some advice to adapt better to this new UI.

I bought a gamepad in order to navigate better in the UI, but i cant figure out how to activate the Starman bonuses for temporary invulnerability when I browse the corporation hangars.

http://www.mariowiki.com/List_of_Power-Ups

Anybody has the shortcut to activate the Starman Icons?
I dont remember if it is shift left alt + alt gr + a+ b+ c+ d or is it shift left click click doubleclick clik shift right click doubleclick click?

Any help appreciated, i d like to try PvP with temporary invulnerability when i use gamepad.

If i find a mushroom icon , will my active ship icon turn fluorescent rainbow too ? I really like that plain green color but that would be nice for sure.

Yes, the new inventory is improved. At the introduction it was crap.
It is improved crap now.

I'm completely unhappy with it, even after the 'get-used-to-it' period. I'm not getting used to it.

If CCP would not ignore us, I would like to tell them to give us the old, functionning inventory back.

I have station containers. I have at least a dozen in every station I have stuff in, and all of them have descriptive names so I know what they contain (i.e., "Skillbooks", "Hybrid Ammo", "Projectile Ammo", "T2 Hardware", etc..). I even bought a blueprint so I could make copies and take them to places where I need them, and then just produce them. This is my way of filtering, knowing what I have and where its at, all from the "Assets" button on my Neo-Com.

Filters will fail because they are tied into the UI.

Station containers won't.

I know that the UI devs hate usability and all, so I'm sure they only left the hotkeys in because they missed them, but anyway my days are filled now with alt-N for ships and alt-G for items. I still treat ships vs. items as different, because they ******* ARE different, and still open them in distinct ways. It's just less convenient.

Anyway, can they get around to removing the selected items window, so I can use hotkeys for that? And maybe they can make the modules to the right of the HUD non-clickable, so that I can ever use alt- and ctrl- function keys.
