Out of Pod Experience

Hey im lookin for some cool movies to watch, i want to bumb out the next couple of weeks.
I love watching movies but i just never get around to doing so often, so here's what id like:

-Recent films (1990+)
-comedy
-Informative(Like the china syndrome)
-Sci Fi

the man from earth.
it's a really good indy movie. don't look too much into it, otherwise you'll start seeing spoilers to the plot.
general idea is that it's a man that's 14000 years old by a fluke in his genetics and he's talking about his life story. everyone that I've shown it to loved it.
if you've got a few weeks off, I've found it's actually more interesting to watch an entire TV series instead of a movie as there's more to it, and it's generally nicely segmented so you can watch it over a few days.

wow, I just went to check how many movies I have. I'm up to just under 3000 anyways, I've got that pile of movies to make a suggestion list like this.

I don't pay attention to actors. I only go to movie's if I like the trailer.

I just saw Dark City yesterday, it was a nice enough sci-fi movie.

dear lord. is that a real movie? I'm just watching the MST3K "review" of it, and it doesn't seem like it would even be possible for something that bad to be made with a straight face.
