Love the changes!

Dunno if this has been adressed before, but I kinda like the log. And i have it sorted by time, so the newest Event is in top. But right after Midnight i cant sort it that way...
Anyway, keep up the Good work and make Eve better and better!

My suggestion:
Combat log save locally or be persistent.

Yesterday I killed by another cruiser on my Caracal. I had 3 different missiles equipped so i wondered which did the most damage. I docked so I am not sitting duck in space but the log was cleared and there is no way for me to see what happened and learn from it.

I know I'm a bit late on this, but you *really* don't want us to be nice -- then you won't fit in as a dev!

Oh, hell, I can't help myself....

Very nice job! I haven't had time to really work out what I like best yet, but I'm liking it.

Hello

love the new feature in the latest patch allowing to copy some tables to excel-like spreadsheets. I want to ask, if it would be possible to copy also the scan results from the Scanner window. For the wormhole life this window is kinda big things and i just like keeping records of stuff :)

Thanks for considering this.

My 1000+ row and growing Excel file of scan results will never be the same again if you do this! ♥

Karkur, my dear.

Do you know something about fixing camera pointer in CQ and camera offset in Character Customization window for dual screen users?
We was talking about that in this topic some time ago and we reopened my bugreports for it.

Any news? Is anyone taking care about that in CCP?

I ask coz I have problems with making my makeup properly :p

Kisses for everyone, like always :*

Sorting of items:
blueprints and rigs

A stack of rigs / blueprints makes a mess, even "by type" they all sort alphabetically because they are all blueprints.

It requires some work to pick out a set of rigs that do not have a consistent naming convention, such as Energy Grid.

I would like to see items sort primarily on their types, sub-types, and then members in that type, at each step down the tree.

Alternately, rigs, a large offender with many sub-types and items, could be fixed for better sorting with an alphabetically friendly naming convention. (CCP Gnauton - perhaps he will hit this area, on the long road to coming up with new names that relate to item function.)

example:
Large Powergrid Subroutine Maximizer -> Large Energy Grid: Powergrid Subroutine Maximizer
Large Semiconductor Memory Cell -> Large Energy Grid: Semiconductor Memory Cell
(etc)

One nark I currently have with the UI is linking 'show info' items to chats.

I see where you are going... I actually want to be able to drag the image.

And in Inferno, that will be possible :D

actually karkur, i remember 1 really really useful thing that UI needs in terms of fleet fights etc...

that being keyboard shortcuts that can tie into the tagging system of the overview.

FC's need this ability especially to call different primaries for different weapon systems eg drones/guns/missiles etc...

1) Add corp name and tickers in our in-game contacts list (it current exists in the EVE Gate list, but not in-game)

2) Allow us to filter our contacts by simple search strings (such as part of their name or their corp name)

3) Allow us to sort contacts by name, corp, alliance, standing

The new "propose lockdown vote" dialog has the buttons in the wrong location. Especially when you compare it to the Contract UI wizard.

(submitted as bug #137073, but it was rejected as being a "feature request")

Quote:
On the "propose lockdown vote" UI (which was changed in Inferno), there are now (2) screens. The problem is that the first screen puts the buttons in order of:

[BACK] [CANCEL] [NEXT]

While the second screen puts the buttons in order of:

[OKAY] {BACK] [CANCEL]

In other UIs, the buttons are always in order of "don´t do something" then "do something". Such as the contract UI, where the buttons at the bottom are [CANCEL] [PREVIOUS] [NEXT]. And the [NEXT] button changes to [FINISH] when you get to the last page of the contract UI.

Therefore, the buttons at the bottom of the lockdown vote wizard should be:

[CANCEL] (gap) [NEXT] -- for the first page
[CANCEL] [PREVIOUS] [NEXT] -- for the second page
[CANCEL] [PREVIOUS] [FINISH] -- for the final page

Thanks for the opportunity.

When I started to scan, nothing warned me that the scanning results are listed BELOW the scanning probes list, I am new, thought it should be visible in the main window, but instead of that, it was visible only after i tried to resize the window (after 30 minutes of scanning, I know I am noob, but how many others made the same mistake?)

Can you set it to automatically resize when somebody try to use it first time?

Thanks!

After todays patch its clear we the players have no input on this game
if we did the UI mess would have been removed and the old (working) inventory would be back

sticking a green box on it dont fix any of the issues at all Ugh
