Yesterday Women's Sterling Dress Bouse (Black Leather) and a Women't Minima Heels (Red) were sold somewhere in the Forge. The White/Black Mystrioso shoes are still up at Jita. I think I saw a structure dress and some pants for the guys also during a quick browse through sales history. Did the NEX store go live briefly, or were these gifts from developers? Are these even items that will go live tomorrow? I suppose we will know the availability of these items soon enough, but was just wondering how these items came to be.
There were a few items briefly released ahead of schedule on Friday; the release will be on Monday along with Inferno 1.1.

Edit: Expansion name corrected.

What can CCP do to make us happy?

I think even if CCP gave us free Viking beer some of us would complain.

People would complain that it isn't whiskey.
I would complain it it was whiskey!

Bug #123807

This defect report was associated with the local clock issue that cropped up in December 2011 and ran for a couple of months.

I re-opened the defect report with a May 1st update as I experienced the exact same client behavior as what was experienced back in Dec 2011. This defect is a show-stopper for my game play as it is highly dangerous to fly with [any size] fleets due to a complete lack of client responsiveness during critical moments such as jumping a gate or using a titan bridge.

Put another way, this defect effectively kept my high-skilled toon out of fleets and bonus-giving positions. It was too risky to either fly an expensive ship or sit in a bonus-giving fleet slot as I'd lose the ship due to thee lack of client-server response or fleet bonuses would be foobar'd.

If this defect is still present in the EVE service (per the space pilot's comments above), then that is troubling and is yet another reason to keep a couple of acounts inactive. That is unfortunate as I'd much rather be in fleets and having fun with mates.

Interestingly, I have made the same substitution when I have meant to write "Inferno."

I thought about it a bit and I am left wondering why CCP put forth an expansion title strikingly similar to the expansion that caused so much corporate and customer heartache one year ago.

Oh well, what's done is done.

given the recent exploiting, maybe theyll start Q&Aing their stuff? (no thats not a rumor)

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

The recent exploits are due to a design flaw rather than a defect. While a QA project team member might pick up on the design problem at some point during the project life cycle (or when generating use cases for testing), the entire team is responsible for catching these types of design flaws.

Remember back when Tyrannis was released and everybody started reprocessing PI-derived goods to make super cheap towers? That is another great example of a design flaw let loose into the "sand box" which should have been caught by the Tyrannis project team.
