I am minmatar, in an amarr corp, my standings are at -4.9, where do I start to increase my standings with them again?
I want my ships to be black after the patch and the way to do it is thorugh tukker tribe.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

You want to gain Thukker Tribe standings to get Black ships?

I must have missed a Dev blog about that.

With Minmatar Faction at -4.9 standing you can still enter Minmatar high sec systems without being bothered by Navy NPC's. If you build up Thukker Tribe standings, that will ruin all your other standings except for Minmatar. It would be better to work the Minmatar and Gallente Event Agents listed in 'The Plan' and then bounce back to Amarr and Caldari when needed.

There's also a 'Questions and Comments' thread available.

Thukker Tribe standings are really annoying since only Minmatar are friendly to them. I think once upon a time pirate factions were friendly to the Thukkers.

My char is minmatar, I just want the black ship in that movie, Black tornado looks too awesome to not have it. If I can buy it like that without any standings would be super.

There is no telling how precisely we are going to get custom ship colors. If nothing else, and they ARE part of LP, they will be sold by other players.

Thukker is smaller than empire factions. Rate of its standing increase/decrease will be faster than larger entities. Since it's not 1-1 ratio, you can get decent Thukker standings without completely ruining standings with larger factions.

See derived chart (2nd one):
http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Standing

A good idea is to run enough storylines to get faction to just above -2 (after diplomacy skill), for mission access, then grind one Thukker corp to 5 (after connections skill) for lvl4 access, without running any more storylines that ruins other faction standings.

As it happens, I can help with corp standings, at a cost.Smile

A lot of things have changed in EVE making it progressively more difficult to run standings up. But there is one method that works currently, I have been using it to pull my Amarr standings up and hopefully my Caldari someday.

Just get in a corp that does not have negative standings with the corp or faction you want to raise. Neutral is just fine. You should have connections trained at least to 3, hopefully to 4. Run a level 1 mission (a few perhaps, if you have connections 3) and you'll gain access to level 2 missions. Might have to wait until downtime to get access to the agents. Once you're at level 2s, you can grind about 20-30 of those and be ready to do level 3s. With about 20 level 3s, you can run level 4s. At ANY point during this after you have incurred significant standings with the agents, you can go join your old corp and continue to use them as long as your personal standings remain high enough, even if your corp standings are lower.

[edit]
If you get Minmatar faction standings high enough, you can run Thukker tribe missions regardless of your Thukker standings.

That makes no sense...

-Neutral is not fine. It'll have to have a positive relation to Thukker.
-Don't wait until downtime, if the agent won't talk to you when you already have the standings, relog and it'll update properly.
-Standing of the player corp you're in have no effect on your agent access, they only matter in things like POS anchoring and clone service.
-Minmatar standing doesn't help. Thukker is its own faction.

Because of standing derived standing gains you would gain small amounts of standing for Thukker Tribe by working for the Minmatar (and a bit for Gallente too). You are correct in stating that simply having the standing doesn't help but gaining standing will give you bits of gains for their allies too.

The amount you get is a percentage of the original value that is modified based on how much that faction likes the one you're working for. Since Gallente an Minmatar really like each other they'll have the best standing gains but derived gains for Thukker Tribe will likely be less (unless they like Minmatar even more then the Gallente do, I haven't checked in a while :3)

And yes, standing derivation was covered in my previous post. See chart.

I have almost 9.0 with Thukker faction, I will get black Minmatar ships?

A few days ago I did ta bit of math to see which factions give you the highest net faction gains across the board. Factoring pirate factions Thukker ranks even lower (are more universally hated) than the Syndicate and only rank slightly higher than Serpintus.

Found the logo on the black ship is Sebiestor. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Sebiestor So I am guessing that for a black tornado I'll need standings with this guys. Right?

ISD isn't CCP.

ISD are just normal players who have a volunteer job to moderate the forums.

EDIT:

Last time I read something about custom ship colours it did involve AUR (NEX exchange) for a different colour ship
