Can anyone give me some tips dealing with these in level 4 missions? I figured T2 hammerheads with drone interfacing 4 could handle them but it can take 10 minutes per cruiser sometimes. I try to pop them as they approach but that doesn't always work.

Shooting them on approach is best tactic. You can also try to fit web, but I think this will work only on ship with web bonuses such as Paladin or Vindicator.

Shoot on approach and I imagine if you need more time manually fly in the opposite direction to buy more time so you can shoot at them at a distance, try to dictate range.

I personally fly missile based ships mostly, Nighthawk/Tengu and just load up T2 Scrouge Fury missiles and they die decently fast. Tried the whole drone thing before and even with drone boats T2 Hammerheads just felt like it took too long, so I would concentrate fire on them with guns and drones since these are generally annoying little buggers to kill.

10 minutes per cruiser seems very excessive. I assume you're using the correct damage type?

I was using HH's against serpentis. They seem to rep more damage than the drones can do.

Try T2 Warriors on Angel elite cruisers.

Try Vespa IIs against Serpentis. Hammerheads should work, but Kinetic is their resistance hole.

What ship are you flying? Maybe try killing them with your missiles or guns? 10 minutes is way too long!

With guns fly away from them in a straight line, this will increase your tracking. Alternatively fit a web and get in their face, but you'll need to tank more damage then.

with guns use the look at button to see what direction they are going in, double tap in that direction and it should lower your transversial enough that you can get some decent hits on them.

if using missiles rigors + painters, and use t1 or faction ammo.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm flying a maelstrom, I'll try vespa II's this time. I try to move away but even with a sebo they drop my targeting range to 20km.
