I really doubt you worded the petition a way that made the situation 100% clear for the GM ...
I also doubt you uploaded the screenshots and gave the GM a link ...

Trust me this stuff happends in low sec as well just go to placid and hang around some belts in a slightly ganky ship and see what happends.

The other thread suggests you either suffered from some bad lag, a short-lived bug, or your own incompetence.

There are no exploits I've ever heard of that would allow someone to be in a system and not be in local. Trust me, I'd abuse the hell out of it until I got warned.

wtf? Even cloaked you show in local... The only place you don't show in local is Wormholes. And God I love wormholes :D


@OP: you're first mistake was not having Directional Scan open and set to max range 360. local should never be trusted as an indicator of who just showed up. Nodes lag, **** happens... Wormholes... (always scan a system before ratting in it. You'd be amazed what shows up sometimes). And as anyone in a propper pvp/nullsec group will tell you, intel is only as good as you make it. People walk away to take a **** and you have intel dead spots. Someone figures another person will just report it and there you have another intel deadspot. This is part of what makes it so easy to sneak into someone elses home systems.

What I meant to say is it was used against us. I agree that circumventing game mechanics to gain an advantage is an exploit..... I think I read that somewhere.....Roll

regarding carriers not being able to refit while being attacked, has that been changed? I know I saw CCP talk about stopping it but have not seen anything else since.
