Which Drones for lvl 4?

My alt is currently using T1 Ogres for lvl 4's. The Dom is equiped with several Drone Dam. Amps., etc. But it still seems slow in dropping targets. I go in with another Dom to shield rep with drones but before one BS is dropped he still need to warp which doesn't seem right. What is the best damage type for these missions?

You're dual boxing battleships and dont know this? Train up for t2 sentries.

Damage is low because you are using T1 drones.

Do I understand correctly that you are trying to shield rep your drones? You should pull aggro with gun(s) before deploying drones.

I use Ogre II's for most missions unless it states the NPC's have a high thermal resistance.

If you are flying a Dominix for missions good drone skills are a must. T2 drones and Drone Interfacing to 5. Also Gallente Battleship to at least 4.

I fly a Dominix with no drone damage amplifiers because I don't want to sacrafice my armor tank and clear missions solo with no problems.

Actually, if you are going in with 2 Domis you can run a RR setup with Sentries, if you are on the ball you will never lose a drone and your tank will be pretty decent. On the negative side if you get jammed it sucks because your tank is gone.

It would work with everything except Guristas I guess. I would love to try it but I don't have two Dominix pilots. Sad

My over tanked Dominix uses two LARs. The DPS is a little low because I don't use the new drone damage mod but it's setup where I pull full room aggro, release drones then go watch TV or browse the forums. You can't do this with all missions. Only the ones without additional spawns.

I would recommend getting the hang of using the Domi before dual boxing. But hey! It's a sandbox!
