Lol the new patch mentions primary and secondary windows, what was a major point of the whole UI replacement, oh yeah, getting rid of multiple windows, well that worked, not, what a large waste of development resources , that time/money/resource could have been used to much better ends elsewhere.

Ignoring the testers and feed back really worked out didn't it ....

Personally I do like the new inventory system. No sarcasm. One window to rule them all! No really I find it much better than having to open this window then that window. All I ever see with the posts against it is that is is horrible, not why, just that it is. Enlighten me?

Go read the many threads especially in test server feedback, and its no longer one window after the patch its multi window.

I personally like the new inventory system, much more tidy and easy to organise my assets. I agree it could be improved but rome wasn't built in a day.

Despite what people say CCP are working on the EVE UI and imho it's time well spent, looks like they are moving on from adding stupid things like the station spinner and concentrating on things that need attention.

Stop moaning about stupid little things and having a dig at CCP every time they do something you don't agree with, you still pay your monthly subscription so things can't be that bad.

Yep, the new system isn't too bad if all you are doing is ratting. Yesterday's mining op with me and 2 other Rorquals at a POS proved that this system is an absolute pile of dog excrement. Better yet, once you finally manage to locate and shift-open all the little windows you need (pretty much the same thing you had to do before - have windows everywhere - except now you need to find them in that god-awful list), DON'T HOVER YOUR MOUSE TOO LONG otherwise surprise! The system switches on you and the main window you thought you had is no longer there - so go find it again!

Seriously CCP, stop making us think you are "improving" the UI when what you are doing is obfuscating it. Keep It Simple, Stupid. There are a million other bugs in EVE, some of which haven't been looked at for years. Creating something that doesn't actually help and in fact makes things more tedious should not be a top priority.

Indeed I agree 100% with that statement, jumping gates and loading nothing while on the other side to lose a BS while I re logged to find my fleet is 2 systems over.

There are many bugs in EVE and I do hope the next expansion will hold off while CCP deals with the main issues.

Yes we do moan in regards to bugs but with expansions popping up like rats in a belt it is hard to keep it a bug free environment.

WOW for example has an almost flawless gaming experience in regards to bugs, but that's because they don't release much in the way of expansions by comparison to EVE. You must remember EVE is such a complicated game with a massive UI and next to endless space, with problems popping up on an almost hourly basis with one main server with on average of 30-40k logged in players. WOW has hundreds of servers and if there is a problem with one it's not a massive problem, they can take it down, fix it and then reboot with no major inconvenience to their playerbase. If something happens in EVE they cannot simply reboot the server as it will affect thousands of players and cause havoc to the harsh environment of EVE

This is EVE, this is the way it was designed, this is a game you enjoy or you wouldn't be here. Get over it.

That's my rant over, peace out ;)

The new inventory system has actually saved me money, i no longer need to have several accounts, and just having a single account now means i can concentrate on mission running etc. no more of that nasty mining for me.. no sir.. and besides, what use is a cyno alt when even using a carrier etc becomes a waste of time.. may as well park it up somewhere and save it for a rainy day.. Even chribbas against it. Yeah though.. its ****. Why cant it just STAY OPEN and where I want it?! Having to open my inventory every time I dock now, I dont see how thats an improvement. Sure its one click. Its an annoyance though.

I was going to say that after a period of adjustment, I'm fine with the new system, but seeing that Chribba is against it, I now hate the new system - CCP fix it immediately!
