Specific Shield Compensation skills and Adaptive Invulnerability Fields

As the horrible title suggests, I was wondering if skills like Explosive Shield Compensation also applied to Adaptive Invulnerability Fields.

Yes but only with the module inactive.

To expand on my esteemed colleague, the skills only apply to passive modules, and only to active modules when not turned on. You're probably thinking that's really stupid. It is, and it isn't. The skills are meant primarily for the passive modules. The boost to active modules is there to provide you some measure of protection should you cap out.

It's one of the balancing factors between shield and armor tanking. Armor tanks get a passive omni-module (EANM) which is affected by the compensation skills. Shield tanks get an active (invuln) that is not affected, but provides higher resistance.
