I use gtx470 SOC. Fairly cheap and I can run every game out there, alot of them on max settings.

Thanks for the AWESOME replies!

Still a bit confused.
I've looked at

MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II - 1 Gb GDDR5 - PCI-Express 2.0

SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY Radeon HD 6950 OC - 2 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 2.1

Which is best?

Im having a hard time figuring it out :/

I'm using the OC version of the twin frozr II, even running it full out for days on end rendering or doing GPGPU work, it gets to 60-65F and just holds that.
the 560ti I have is more powerful by a sliver than the 6950 is, but if you run dual high resolution screens or 3 or more of any type of screen you'll need the extra cache on the ATI. the ATI would be a little slower, but the overall drop in frame rate when you get to rendering multiple screens will be much less notable on the ATI then the 560TI.

You can get brand new GTX 460 for about 110 dollars: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=ENGTX460-PCIE-1024-CO&cat=VCD

If you buy the card above, you will need the cables to power it up. Most power supplies these days have at list one power connector. This card needs two. So you will likely need this kind of adopter: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=PCIXPRESPWRCAB&cat=VCD

GTX 460 was the first gamer card in nVidia line up back then. While GTS 450 is nice and like someone said is probably enough for EVE, it was more of a mid range card. not a gamer card.

under 200$ there's no option imho. The one you are looking at already:

MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II <---- not "yet another 560ti card" at all!!

I had it till 2 days ago, was able to run 2 clients flawlessly on 2 monitors at 1920x1080 with full details, never going over 62°C in full summer with fan speed at 50% totally inaudible. Having more than 2 clients will probably give you some problems cause it's still a 1Gb card anyway and each EVE client can take about 400-450Mb vram, but if you go with lower details than you can run even 3 at the same time.

It could also handle dx11 and tasselation in case you plan to use it for some time and with other games, even if in this case the ram will cap your fps badly on certain super-heavy games such as BF3, Crysis or Skyrim

ah, nothing against AMD but have you ever heard EVE is sponsored by nvidia? ;)
