Bad luck striked at me. I had a silly accident that did get my entire rigt side of the body sans hip with dislocated bones. From head to toe. It give my son more time crawling all over me and makes me an easy target to aim at with heavy toys i now regret buying for him. On the good side i god plenty f time thinking of the summerfest details now and i found a way leaning on my aquarium to be able to stand and type with a stick on the keyboard. Good thing i am not writting a book here.

Also, for this week we had pretty close to nill bookings. I remind you the roof of entries are at 1100 people and we want to see the venue filled. Not only for us, but to honor CCP T0rfifrans, Guard and Tallest as they deserve to be treated.

One more thing....

people complain for my late response t their e-mails. We got 4740 smt e-mails in 2 days with questions. Though i had an option to do a send to all generic reply i opted answerign each and every mail personaly. This is why it took about 6 days for some to get mails from us.

I did this because you are not going to a concert were faceless people are coraling you in a big pile forcing you to watch and listen. You are friends we never met, but you got facevalue for us. Wonderfull people we learned to love and that makes this game so special. And when allot of people are brining their families along and asking us about their concerns.... i am so sorry. But this just do not fit into a "Send to all" policy. We will all, and most of us me especialy, be there from day one to help you, keep you happy and make sure you leave with a smile.

But i got a question as well....

CCP Guard mentioned bein hyper agile with good aim etc for the Pain(t)ball event. Does a laso count as webbing?

I am so jealous :(.... I was in Corfu,Rhodes, an Athens in 1979, an again in 1980 magnificent place to be. There really are few places on earth as beautiful as Greece. (Little tip, be careful with Greek girls, they generally have Greek brothers with shotguns) :D

PS, never get into drinking competitions over Uzzo with a greek, you'll lose.If I wasn't in Tasmania I would be there for the event too...

Tasmania sounds as the remotest place we got support from. Thank you for your kind words. Allow me to say that Tasmania is one of my dream destinations too for diving. Cannot wait to see the weedy hypocampus swimming in his natural habbitat.

Cheers and thanks Blink

hehe There are a few Tasmanians playing, not many but some. As for diving, it is very good here (very low risk of sharks this far south).

I encourage everyone who is able an has means to go to this event. You will take home amazing memories of Greece for life.

EVE players should never be designated drivers.

Perhaps chipping in for / organising a minibus service to take our drunken remains back to Athens is not a bad idea?

EDIT: For people that live in Athens, I mean.

We're working on idea of having a transport service for the people who want to visit the Fest and return back.

Yes we thought of that, since the majority of the greek players live in a semi comfortable distance we are going to offer a shuttle service for them. We realisse this is a big expense for everyone commign so we got into great lengths doing everythign in our power to give options for all incomes.

Myself will most probably not have time to sleep and if i will i will most probably do so on the beach.

Please all keep in mind that booking as a preset a room with strangers (automixup) is only available as an option for the summercamp and not for Paolo Hotel and Poseidon resort. For these you will be charged per person for double and triple rooms accordingly. If you wish still to arrange a mixup for Paolo or Poseidon please contact us via the main page at http://www.summerfest.eu/contact.php

Please be so kind and book as early as posible because we need to be able to make an early headcount to provide the best possible services.

I live in Athens, so I'll definitely be there.
In reference to some of the previous posts, don't worry folks, Greece'll still be here long after any crisis, and anarchy has never been an issue. So, here's to seeing you all at the fan fest in Loutraki.
...also, I owe some friends a few beers (you know who you are). ;-)

Talos can we have an update on that?
I am interested in going to the Fest but the hotel price is a little too much for me right now.

My K/D ratio in Paintball is something like 3-1. Small target, fast legs, good shot.

HOORAH!

Oh man.. I'm a huge target, slow as hell and can't shoot to save my life.
I guess I'll have to fit a good armor tank.

Well it will only be available as an option if we know how many people are going to participate from Athens or the nearby area.
