So this is my first post in the forums. I've been following in Cannibal Kane's foot steps.

A few days ago I stole some ore from some guys mining and ended up blowing up a couple ships.
I get an email from their CEO asking me to leave their corp alone... blah blah blah.
I respond telling him for a very cheap 200m he'll never have to worry about me harassing his corp again.
He tells me to go to hell.
My response is that if he doesn't want to pay I'll go after his corp even more and wont stop until I've destroyed 2 billion of their stuff.
Same response from him. Plus telling me I have to pay them 2 billion to not be podded if I end up war dec'ing them

This brings me to last night.... I'm sitting in station minding my own business when I see local start filling up with the CEO and his corp members.
They end up with 6 in system... and start camping my station... even though we're not at war.
The CEO calls me out to fight telling me I only go after noobs and such... can't fight a real fight. I didn't realize 6 vs 1 was a fair fight... but ok.
I undock in my Bhaal. A neuting Domi, Hurricane, Ferox, and Blackbird are sitting outside with cans out for me to steal. They see my Bhaal and the ferox and blackbird warp away. Then they begin to ***** in local that they wont try to take on a Bhaal... that isn't fair !! They ask me to bring out my tengu instead.
So I dock back up and come out in the tengu.... this time its only the Domi and hurricane sitting there. I grab their can ... get in orbit and wait for them to fire. They start telling me I'm a *****.... apparently they think me orbiting is me running away. Takes them a while but they finally start to fire. The Domi is just sitting still and the caine is chasing me in orbit. So I start drawing him out so I can be out of the domi's range. I make short work of the caine. Right as he's bursting into a ball of fire the ferox warps back in. I do the same thing to him and he falls even faster. I then started back towards the CEO's domi. The blackbird finally comes back... jams me... and they both warp away.
So after showing up with 6 corp members they had to run with their tails between their legs. Mind you the 2 guys I killed are very new. I dont know why they thought this would be a good idea.
And thanks to those 2 kills they're 100m closer to their 2 billion total.

Went to do some piracy for the first time, hopped in a Merlin, away I go.

Went to Tama, jumped into a belt, found a Procurer mining.

Bingo.

I'm pretty sure he noticed me a few seconds after I jumped in, so kick on MWD, scramble him, open up a PM.

'Hi there'
'**** you'
'15mil, now'

Hands over 15mil, turn off scrambler, warps away.

Nothing special, I guess people have their own ways of pirating: I think people would cooperate more if you let them have their ship intact.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

:sigh: the end is neigh!

Words like Tama, Procurer mining and nothing special seems to not fit into one sentence.

I experienced myself that Amamake is quite silent nowadays. Did Tama also turn into pe(sp)ace?

Then my standards for 'nothing special' must be pretty low.

That horrible moment when he realises he is being bump tackled as we jump into local and warp to him:

[ 2012.06.20 18:30:10 ] Dust Todako > dude!!!
[ 2012.06.20 18:30:28 ] Dust Todako > PLEASE!

and when we land on grid:

I didnt refer to the procurer kill. But the fact that even someone dares to mine in Tama (formerly known as My Tama) is... amazing.
Where did all the pirates go? As i was active pirating there were only 3 kind of people moving into the system:

1st: pirates
2nd: moar pirates
3rd: every now and then someone who hasnt set autopilot to "prefer safe"

Mind you, a long time ago, I mined in Tama. Well, I tried, not too long, that machariel wasn't that friendly, and my osprey soon melted with the nearest roid.

My dear space-citizen, today I'll write you a little story about ~pirate(s) in wormholes~.
I was chilling in lowsec, trying to get some new contracts, when I got the idea to expand my activities to the lower classes of wormholes. I probed a bit during a week, until I found something interesting : an entrance to J113221. It wasnt a K162, meaning that I could sneak myself inside and maybe get a little something (an offline POS, a drake in an anom -you know, the usual stuff-).

On dscan were a badger and a battlecruiser, sucking some gas. They noticed my probes and hide in their POS. Damnit. I checked that POS, and bingo ! His owner wasn't the brightest POS manager in EVE. Yeah, sure, it was a solid medium caldari tower, with a "d!ck star" configuration and a few shinies (corp hangar x2, ship maintenance, some refinery-thing). Well, no, it's wasnt a d!ck star, it was a "full d!ck star of jamming of doom" (wow, scary), with no guns or points or anything else. A fuck1n giant blackbird with millions of EHP. Excellent, I was ready to try that stuff, you know "solo wormhole invasion".

I put a random alt in a heron inside, and didnt do much for 2 weeks (busy IRL etc). I noticed they were active during my EUR tz, and that they had at least one tengu. Good good. The corp owning the tower had 25 guys, their alliance about 110 members. Doable.

I didnt have work to do the last week end, so decided to run that invasion. Friday, I found an old tower laying in my assets (a small gallente tower, that I stole from a RaidenDot nyx... But that's another story). I packed it in my prowler, with a bit of fuel/stront, and 3 toons in armageddons. Saturday I woke up early, found the lowsec static, dive in J113221, anchored my **** in it and bring my motherfuck1ng fleet. After a few trips, my lovely prowler got enough POS modules, including that useful ship maintenance thing. I refitted the 3 armas, from a multibox pvp fit to... something funnier

Beginning the second step : let's poke it (with three golden sticks of 1000 meters) !

Each of these giant bananas warped to a different spot, unleashing their deadly sentries, and closing to the POS modules. In an epic flash, in a loud explosion, I jumped on my keyboards, pushing F1 to F8 like a mad man three times, each armageddons dealing about 2500 dps from its... smartbombs. Because most of the jammers were packed in 2 groups, and they were slowly getting eaten by Mister Notos and Miss Vehemence. While smashing the dscan button, hoping (or maybe not) a reaction from them, I noticed that the POS wasnt trying to jam me. Another great success from that POS manager. After a few seconds of hesitation, I decided to continue to incap that mess and not shoot directly the tower. 30mn after, I guess one of their directors noticed the funny evemails and put my corp in -10. The POS woke up and started jamming me, but hey -I didn't care much-.

After 1h30 (WTB draclira smartbombs and energy pulse weapon lvl5 plz), most of the jammers died within the same minute (I love that sound). I refitted the armas for a 1200 dps cap stable fit and started to work on the tower. It took a few hours ("a few" YES IT WAS FUN OKAY ? I ENJOY EVE ONLINE :true-story: ) but the POS got rf'd. I destroyed every can outside the ff and anchored one, telling them that they could pay me a ransom. Still surprised that they didnt try to save it, I loggued off, hoping for a little blob fest (yes, on my scale, 4 pilots is a blob Oops ).

To continue.

(this forum is a mess lol, I keep getting the "we got ganked" error page because... my post was too long. Oh silly CCP)

Step 3 ! IT'S ALARM CLOCK TIME (no I want to sleeeeeep ;_; ).
3 pilots of their corp are online, 2 of them were in that wormhole. I warped my bananas to the POS. It seems that nothing happened here, their lonely coercer is still flying all alone in that forcefield and nobody is around reping the mods/tower. Now you're telling yourself "eh dude, your wall of text is cool and all, but don't tell me that there was no pewpew ?". Sorry Pirate I still don't know why they didn't try to save it : they had the numbers, they were active almost everyday and HEY IT'S REPPYK IT'S FUN TO KILL HIM.

My lazers raped the shield, my bouncers got the armor, the structure disappeared in a flash (a flash of 10mn, welcome to EHP Online eh). Oh, that some shinies. I like shinies. Shoot that corp hangar ! HERE WE COME, FACTION MODUL-- oh wait, what is that ? 20k m^3 of T1 ammos ? Okay okay that other corp hangar, it must be full of DELICIOUS DEADSPACE hum T1 mining crystals. And some T2 modules but that's not that great. The shinies must be in that ship maintenance, don't you think ? Let's blow it ! Yes a lot of ships from it ! As you can see on the tl;dr picture :

So I have been known to go pirating occasionally, and sometimes I get good fights, others I get blown up in new and sometimes hilarious ways.

This is not one of those stories.

This one goes back a little ways, I had just finished training Heavy Assault Cruisers IV, and finally gotten into a Vagabond, and I had been anxious to give it a try in a real fight. Unfortunately, no such opportunity presented itself.

So, I decided to go can flipping with my brand new Vagabond. I swapped out the Energy Neutralizer, for a Tech II Cloaking Device, and headed out to high sec.

I jump out, and check my D-Scan, see a couple of Hulk's, and decide to look around. Warp to the first belt, and there's a guy mining in a Hulk here, but no jet can. So I hopped around the belts a bit, but none of the people out there seemed to be mining into a can.

Well then... Onward to the next system!

I jumped into Freatlidur, and warped to a central planet to D-Scan. I saw quite a few Hulks out there, but only a couple of jet cans.

Alright, looks promising so far...

I land in a belt, with a Hulk mining into a jet can about 60km off. I burn over towards him with my MWD. Jeez the Vagabond is fast, covered the 60km in several seconds as I approached the can. I quickly dropped my own can and scooped his minerals over to it. The Hulk immediately warped off.

So I started burning away from the can, and hit my cloak when I got to about 20km off. Aligned my ship to the can, and waited patiently. After about five minutes, I started to get bored of sitting there, and wanted to go find some other less invisible target, but I stayed put. Man, I am glad I did. So fast forward to about 15 minutes later, I know it was at least 15 minutes, my aggression timer had expired. I am just getting ready to take off, and in warps... An Orca!

He has my full attention now, as he lazily slow boats over to the jet can, and as he gets in transfer range, I decloak. He grabs the can and starts to align, and I overheat my MWD and slam my brand new Vagabond right into the side of his Orca, I was spamming the target lock, waiting for the sensor recalbration timer to expire.

Those six seconds seemed to take forever, but finally I got him locked and pointed.

I hit my guns, and start orbiting him at 17km. I am slowly burning my way through his shields, and he launches Hammerhead II's and sends them after me. I manage to keep them off me for a while by pulsing my MWD, but I am starting to run dangerously low on cap, and his drones soon began making headway through my shields.

By this point he is at about three quarters armor, and I am just hitting my peak recharge on my shields. I start wondering if I am going to be able to pull this off, and decide to try to ransom him and save myself the risk of losing the kill. So I try to convo him, and I get the popup that he is "offline or unavailable". This fool tried to logoffski. No ransom for him! I bring my concentration back to the task at hand, overheat my guns, and try to get through this guys armor. My shields are at about 10%, and they won't last much longer. He is just hitting 1/3 armor.

At this point, it could no longer be a solo kill, so I started calling for help in corp chat, and two of my buddies jumped out and headed over. I was starting to take armor damage, so I told them to hurry up! The Orca is almost in structure and I am about half armor when they finally land on grid with us, and we finish him off in short order.

http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=12467932

Awesome first kill for my brand new Vagabond. After we post the mail, we notice that it was a double kill! He had a Muninn in his ship bay of the Orca. Ouch.

You had a point on the Orca when he launched his drones. Why didn't you simply target the drones and kill them. If there is nothing eating away at your armor then you have all day to kill the Orca solo. Just a thought.

I come fourth with a second story. Not quite as good as the first.... but I find it funny none the less.

So there I am in a plex flipping peoples cans in my vexor when I suddenly realize there's 3 people from the corp in system.
I continue on and find myself faced with a firetail and hawk targeting me.
They do nothing and I continue flipping cans.
A new corp member appears in system and a quick dscan shows me its a pilgrim.
I dont like my odds now so i warp back to station.
The pilgrim and firetail follow.
At the station the pilgrim engages me. I dock and come back out in a tengu.
If they want to play the bring bigger ships game... so will I.
The pilgrim pilot was expecting that and quickly warped away.
He starts up in local saying he should come back with his tengu or nighthawk and **** me... blah blah blah
Suddenly he goes offline.... and his ship is still on dscan.
Out go the probes .... find his nice little pilgrim sitting at a safe spot... pop :)

Hello Fellow Space Captains...

Once again with the burden of Merc work away and myself enjoying what I use to do, I bring you this. A refreshing resurrection of Battleship kills using my Trusty Thorax.

I set off again, this time warping to planets to check directional for what type of ships are mining. Bingo, a badger, Abaddon, and a Hyperion with a can. No Doubt Mining Battleships..

I warp in and the badger pilot seems to be afk snce there were about 5 cans scattared around the two battleships.

Click Click... all their into my own can.

The badger pilot awakes and warp away, shortly followed by the two battleships. The abbaddon returns now fitted with weapons, as well as a condor and another Thorax.

All three of them engaged, I make way to the abaddon real fast for a tight orbit so I can take my time taking down the Condor and the Thorax.

Condor Down, Thorax warps away in half structure. The abaddon also falls really fast, just as the abaddon pops the thorax warp back in full armor and quickly falls and pops since I could keep him there.

After a look, I see nothing special to these fits. t1

Condor:

Thorax:

Abaddon:

I think EVE-Kill might have had an issue there.

I decided to war dec them since I see alot of them fling around in Batlleships.

The minute the war starts... Well hello there...

Once again and as all my other previous encounters I head of with my Thorax... why? because I have war targets all docked up nice and snug.

I sit a planet and check Directional, see two ship mining both from the same corp. I head in and do my customary snatch and grab. Both of them warp away.

A minute later a Catalyst and a Cyclone lands and engages. I go after the Cyclone first with and set my drones after the catalyst. Catalyst warp away and I slowly take down the Cyclone with him Shield boosting when ever he has enough cap to do so.

Short fight, good fight. After checking the mail I noticed that he fitted his ship to counter my Ships damage type.

Some you win some you loose.

After another fruitless war target hunt I find a ferox mining with a hulk. I flip the can and the Ferox warps away.

I notice there are three of them in system. A drake warps in so I though a what the hell lets engage. And Suddenly a Tengu to.

Needless to say I did not last to long in that fight. I am however pissed at loosing my Corpses in the cargo hold.

Going to put a dec through... I need to exact my vengeance and a Tengu is always a good target for that.

Moved a chunk of my story here (from A gang's first flight), as per user suggestion:

After that Drake kill we moved on to the next system and noticed that a pirate has been following us. He’s in a Rupture. While two of us wait at a safe, our Pilgrim pilot is cloaked outside a station, waiting to see if the Rupture shows up. Eventually he does and the Pilgrim engages. Unfortunately for us, the Pilgrim doesn’t have much of a tank and goes down from a combination of the station guns and the Rupture.

When we land we engage the Rupture and bring him down to less than half armor before he is finally able to dock again. A few seconds later, he undocks (with full armor again) and tackles me. Tanking the station guns for a few minutes now, I chose to dock and call for the Myrmidon to do the same. Clearly, we weren’t going to win a docking game with this guy.

I congratulate the Rupture for his kill, but the Pilgrim pilot wasn’t so impressed: “Nice station guns,” he says.

“A win is a win,” says the Rupture pilot. True enough.

About 20 minutes later (back from a quick bite to eat, while waiting for the global criminal to expire), I noticed that the Rupture pilot was challenging me to a duel. I notice his employment history and point out that he will no doubt win as I am flying a larger ship with very few skills and he has a few years on me. He insists that it will be close.

My two fellow pilots also insist I fight, already forming their own plan.

“Fine,” I say, and we pick a scenic orbit above a planet as our fighting spot. The Pilgrim pilot was on his way back with a Curse and the Myrmidon pilot was one system over. They notice that the Rupture had some backup of his own: a Hurricane was also in the neighboring system.

As the fight progresses, it becomes painfully clear to me that my Harbinger (Rage, I believe I named it) was no match for the swifter Rupture and its more experienced pilot. I call my fellow pilots on vent to jump in the fight; I know I was going to die, but I wanted the Rupture to go down with me. As they enter the system, the Hurricane arrives at the duel site, apparently noticing the Myrmidon and Curse activity and preemptively moved in.

“He’s just here to make sure the fight doesn’t get interrupted,” says the Rupture pilot.

The Curse and Myrmidon jump in, and I switch my guns (missing the Rupture most of the time) to the Hurricane. After my Harbinger finally goes down, I warp out and listen on Vent as the Curse and Myrmidon finish off the Rupture and score the Hurricane as a bonus.

“You have no honor,” says the Rupture pilot after the fighting ends. “In EVE, reputation is everything. You should’ve just taken the loss.”

They leave the system and we go back and salvage the wrecks. As we prepared to leave, the Rupture pilot showed up again – this time in a Myrmidon – and challenged us once more.

Then I remembered something he said earlier.

“A win is a win.”

And we leave.

Kills:
Rupture
Hurricane
Drake: (not showing up for some reason, will link as soon as it does).

+1 If you enjoyed!

Notes:
1) This is, of course, nothing amazing by most standards, but for us this was an awesome milestone. I hope to post more stories down the road. Video footage of the fights will also be posted once we finish editing out the long intervals of waiting/sitting around. Suggestions for background music welcomed.

2) For a little more background on us, check out the prior post: Worm R*pe

I have a lover, her name is EVE. I see her every night and all she asks in return is that I have a pilot's license.
