rig research - data sheets

I started working on researching rigs, and came to find out that I need a ton of data sheets to do that.
I had a total of 10 data sheets from, oh, about 2 years ago - no clue where I got those from.

This left me stumped and I'm a bit at a loss - so I am looking for those "in the know" as this seems to be a rather obscure and arcane art. Outside of the market (obvious and current choice), what are the known sources of data sheets?

Is this some obscure loot or mission type I need to do?

I always just get em from the market as they are NPC seeded.

I think they can drop in tiny quantities in some missions by blowing up structures but thats about it
