See explanation here.

Seems we've all been played for fools.

Let this be a lesson to all of us, especially CCP.

amazing. Very good jobs to the goons. This is how eve should be played and frankly am quite jealous they have the resources to figure this out.

Very nice work goons: Time will tell if they've set up a snowball effect for farmers to keep the Minmatar militia on top, or if things will equalize.

Even if things drop off for the minnies now, thanks goons for all the near free SFI's!

I saw the 50ish CNR's in Jita yesterday. totally crushed the market. Also 30+ navy scorps, but they went away later on.

The blog is about Minny Militia...But arent the CNR's and SNI's Caldari LP items?

The interference they claim is with 1) the market, and with 2) the upgrade levels of systems. So there's no need for a crystal ball: they haven't done anything to keep the Minmatar where they are.

Just read the General Forums post and read Hans' posts. How biased can he get?

Calls the ammar whiners despite the truth coming out that the minmitar have been propped up by a massive loop hole exploit (prob not a real exploit but CCP derpness to push through a ****** feature onto a ****** feature). Yet he refuses to accept it. Refuses to acknowledge there has been a problem.

Hans, you're either useless as a CSM by not following through legitimate concerns (you're CSM persona is meant to be representing all militias) or you are only looking after your own militia's interests by not acknowledging vast descrepncies.

And hats off to the goons. And hats off to CCP...for a different reason.

Looks like someone missed the part where they neglected to mention anything about actually plexing systems. You all have been getting beaten by the actual militia. These clowns were just exploiting a bad formula in the highest of high secs, more than 10 jumps from the main warzone.

Julius correct, however system control without coordinated dumps are meaningless. You cant control enough systems (there aren't enough) to maintain t3+

I suspect after the goons leave Minnis will be at t2 (thinking that amar are smart enough to actually keep them there) its not really hard.....

So explain to me how spending LP in a system makes it harder to retake? I understand upgrading system to make T5, but not how it prevented system from being captured? Or am I missing the point of the OP entirely?

The LP investment isn't that big bolster. Just do the math. The funny thing is these guys could have earned even more if they'd just done missions instead, instead of wasting their time making a few LP gains on the margins with items that they had to buy and haul to wherever they thought they were being clever. Anyone who actually knows how to make money in FW could have made 4x the LP these guys did with a little dedication and some numbers.

The hilarious part is they think they pulled a fast one over everyone else when really they picked the slowest way of getting LP.

Hans and all the other CSM are a joke. Thier input is a waste and subjective. No single pilot who plays the game should be close to the developers. All the input CCP needs can be done threw the forums.

Also, in Hans defense. There's no way he could know. Unless CCP informs him of wide spread manipulations. Which apparently they didn't. Often CCP doesn't even know for some time. So, yes! He's either clueless or complicate. Why would he want to rush hurting his wallet? Billions have made and are being made still.

The Amarr thing is just a side show that those who're just in it for the isk don't care about.

FW is fine.
HTFU.
Adapt or Die.
Etc.

Hahahahaha. Gloriously done .. my earlier statement that it was over-incentivized turns out to have been a gross understatement .. hahahahahahaha.

CCP truly have no clue .. now they are putting wrecking balls to Eve's economy unintentionally .. *sigh* Smile

Well goons aren't the only ones who've printed isk from the minmatar FW store over the last 3-4 weeks...

Though we didn't make a 12 figure haul like they did we did get a respectable haul from the imbalanced minmatar LP store offers.

Don't worry the assets will be put to good use shooting Matari soon enough, and yes we felt that utilizing this opportunity was of the highest priority, no matter how much people whined at us for doing our thing, it's not every month that isk printing opportunities like this present themselves.

The way I understand it, they manipulated the price of an item nobody ever used to screw with the value Eve put on it when calculating LP payouts after the ship it was in was destroyed, then set about using alts in the various militia to blow up T1 industrials loaded with this useless, artificially inflated item and harvest truly vast amounts of LP from it. Far more than any mission runner has ever managed to stockpile.

They then used some of this LP to keep the Minnie militia at T4 as a balance between optimum deals for their LP and everyone else doing a run on the store if it was at T5, while converting the rest into ISK. Mention was made of converting ISK into LP at 81 per LP then back into ISK at 1500ish per LP and doing it on a scale of trillions of ISK. That is a lot more than any FW player that I've ever heard of.

The militia did plex those systems from the Amarr, but the cheap faction store and lots of upgraded systems currently seems to look like it came far more from this market manipulation than it did from militia pilots donating their LP. Now that they've stopped we can see whether it was all from this well pulled off scheme or if the militia really were doing it themselves all along.
