Angel Mission Running or Ratting

Hey all,

I've been debating on whether to get into running lvl 4 missions for the Angel Cartel or ratting in the belts in Curse. I was kind of thinking that I might do both but one thing that is holding me back about that is that the rats in the belts in Curse are all Angel npcs and it would mess up my faction standing with the Angel Cartel. I kind of want to be stationed out in Curse because of the pvp so the danger aspect doesn't really matter to me but it kind of sucks that the rats in the belts are of the same faction of the people I want to run missions for.

Does faction standing really matter for mission running if you have good standing with a corp within a pirate faction? If it does, I'll stop ratting but if it doesn't - then I'll probably do both.


Could you clear this up for me?

Once your faction standing drops below a certain point (-2 I think? Someone correct me if I'm wrong), you will no longer be able to do anything higher than L1 missions for any corps in that faction. At least that's how it was for player factions when I ran into that issue. I assume the same is true for pirate factions.
