Which, after several months of development, don't work as well as the old forums.

Lolz. I can see you're new here. And you're right, this is definitely NOT like the old forums.

We've actually learned to be polite, sensible and courteous on the new forums. Well, most of us anyway.

I prefer them to the old forums. I'll grant you the old forums were more stable. They also logged you out of you took more then two minutes to write a post.

Both versions had pros and cons, in the end I like the new ones better, primarily because of the follow thread notifications.

On that note though, I'd like to ask for old notifications to be removed once you've visited them. Since people posting in a thread you've followed creates a new alert per post but collapses them, it can be hard when you have 7 alerts, but only five things showing, to tell which ones are new alerts and which are old.

+1 for the new forums imo. They're much cleaner looking, easier to navigate and actually keep you logged in long enough to post a decent amount.

I would like the new forums better if they hadn't removed the majority of bbcode from the posts/signatures.

Another thing about the new forums is that they don't have signatures which absorb 90% of the page with ghastly ponies and Rifters drawn in Paint.
