I somehow came into possession of an orca in a c1 wormhole. So far I have only found exits that can't fit it. Will a decent exit ever spawn? Right now my plan is to hope that a wormhole that leads to a tougher system appears.

A WH big enough will never appear, your only option is to self destruct it.

I do not believe so, afaik it is stuck there

also (and i may be wrong here) it may be possible to build a pos and break it down to its components then haul the components out... however i have no real idea what that would entail

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

WHs mass restrictions work sideways, can't get bigger than a BC through a WH leading to a C1, so can't get bigger out either, don't bother waitting and give the ship back.

All wormholes that connect to a C1 system have a max mass of 500,000,000kg and a max single jump mas of 20,000,000kg.

So, that orca is real estate, unless the OP follows the advice others have given him.

Tho, I have heard of ways of getting ships to a medical clone facility......

Wrong.
According to the Evelopedia article regarding Wormholes (and according to my own knowledge on how Wormholes work), the maximum mass limit per jump for ANY Wormhole connecting to or from a C1 is twenty million (20.000.000) Kg.
So no, your Orca (250.000.000 Kg) is never going to leave that system.
Well, maybe as scrap metal. But certainly not in one piece.....Twisted

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

You can't take it with you...but sell it back to the C1 owners at a discounted price. Anyone should get paid for their ninja skills. Make them an offer and see what happens. They built one in there for a reason and it would be cheaper than building a new one. I'm just sayin.

the lowest class dictates the max jump mass. anything from or to a c1 will have c1 mass limits. the orca is stuck there untill it gets destroyed

You will never be able to take the Orca out. You can either SD it or try to sell the system with the Orca in it. You often see C3 and C4 systems being sold with capital ships in them, it means that if whoever moves in wants those ships they don't have to waste time/resources building it. Might make some miner happy.

Here's how you get it out: self destruct it for the insurance and salvage it. Carry it out in tiny little pieces.

I once self destructed a Phoenix in a c1. Was a very satisfying feeling. I hope your self destruction of the orca feels just as good.

I'd give it back to the owner and then blow it.

For all the people saying to self-destruct it for the insurance... it's not going to have much insurance if he just acquired it. And it's not like he can fly it to a station to get it fully insured.

Really, he can either build his own POS to keep it protected, can sell it, can blow it up for scraps, or can abandon it. Spending too much time thinking about it just means somebody else will come along and make the decision for him.

Edit, actually I take that back... looking at my own Orca, I see the basic insurance payout is current 277 million ISK. I'd pop that sucker and move on with life.
