I had started to ask myself some time ago if Factional Warfare was really worth my time. Today at 12:41 PM, I got my answer.

What won't happen?
You mean to say that "Nothing Special" won't happen?

This actually happened to the Gallente militia. It took CCP about 6 weeks to twig. They released some news articles and added a little stuff to the lore, then forgot about the whole horrid business.

Oh, and then the Caldari got bored, and the Gallente took most of their space back. Frankly, CCP's performance on the matter was dreadful. I really think they should try and have something- well, decent prepped for the next time it happens.

Fireworks. Many, many fireworks.
And CCP will be silent because they have no single idea what to do then because "they thought it was ready".

What happens when Xenuria posts?

Can anyone really define "special" in Eve? I can. We have "special" cargo haulers, "special" ship fitters, "special" FCs, and "special" forum posters. None of these things are good, but the game wouldn't be the same without them. So where does that leave us when it comes to FW? It's actually not that big of a conundrum, and in fact bucks the trend of CCP's non-answers when it comes to the recurring question of "what's the point of it all". By saying that "nothing special" occurs when a complete FW victory has been achieved, they're really saying that the faction which achieved it is "nothing special". Nothing "special". In this game, that's a complement (see first three sentences.)
