I should make it clear that I'm not Goon-hating or speculating on some :tinfoil: CCP/Goonwaffe link, I'm just saying that at this point, they have clearly won EVE. The members of their corporation have more ISK than the rest of EVE put together due to this latest exploit. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a bee stinging a pubbie face, forever...

Are you sure GSF members have more isk than the rest of EVE? Sounds like a rather big rumor to me. Any evidence?

I wish that they would open new server. It probably would be fun to start everything from scratch. Due uniqueness of this game Eve is low demand and server wont last long and would be closed/merged due low population and that would cause other problems with economics. So we stick with on server or until goons will find a way to complete break a game. Seems they only and try to do that. U are really bored goonys arent u?

Even though I read the other thread I must admit I haven't fully understood what they did, so correct me if I am wrong - didn't they just convert items into other items? Ok, the market price for the new items are much higher then the market price for the old items, but still - doesn't that mean that it's still basically items on the market? Or did I misunderstood what they did?

If I got it right, then were is the harm? If you don't want to convert the items into ISK, just don't buy them, but get/produce them yourself.

I think it'd be fun starting on a level field with everyone and seeing which no-names rise to the top, and which current powerhouses can't make the cut. But it'll never happen, so...waste of threadspace.
