Time for ccp to tinker with the concord timer again

It's not CONCORD's purpose to stop anything. They punish, they don't protect.

Why tank your Hulk and sacrifice yield when you can just mine aligned and be nearly 100% safe while getting full yield?

you keep saying this word but i do not believe it means what you think it means.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

due to the announced rebalances for mining ships in general this has basicly become a moot point :)

so can this thread be locked now? :)

Indeed! The upcoming change to mining ship "roles" will solve a lot of these problems. I'm looking forward to a BS or BC equivalent tank on a Procurer/Skiff. Sure, the ore hold won't be much, but it'll take a small fleet of gank-fit destroyers to take it out. As it is, the Procurer is useless, and the Retriever/Covetor are paper-thin. It'll be nice to have options. Though to be honest, I don't mine all that often.

Actually I know 100% what it means. It means not staying still like a moron.


You make about 4 BMs off grid surrounding your mining sight. Then you sorta-circle your roids and mine at 75% speed. You are nearly invincible if you bother to put in a little work.
