Hmm?

Comic strip was just to illustrate my distaste in the RL money scheme blizzard went with.

I made 270 euros of the rmah, first day was a blacksmith plan that some pleb paid 75 euros for on buyout and the second thing I sold was a 1200-ish dps crossbow for 195 euros.

that is pretty much how it works.

People with disposable income gravitate towards grinders like diablo 3 and wow.

A sad end to what was a great 2 games , the first diablo was great and diablo II with its expansion used to be one of my favorite games lvl 63 in hardcore was my record
I really looked forward to number 3 but when i heared the horror stories how blzzard had the intention to turn it into a money cow i changed my mind , reading all these whines about isproving i was right

I still fondly remember all their old games the original world of warcraft rts games and both diablo s. Sigh

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

I don't see anything wrong. It is like EVE. If you have time, you can grind and buy game time with game money (thus playing for free)

If you don't have time, but have money (as it happens to be) you can avoid grinding for money. (I have never sold a Plex cos I like missioning, but I have bought LoL champions and skins)

And If you have time and skill, just grind D3 and make a living from it :D

The only problem is, in the end the offer will grow and the demand will shrink, and prices will be much lower.

And for the OP, tell the D3 forum warrior that next time he should read the LoA before spending 300$ in a virtual sword.

The new patch made it pretty much impossible to grind in the game.

Its a rare thing at the moment to loot more money than it costs to repair your armor.

Why would people pay real money on Diablo? It's a single player game. At least in EvE you can deadspace fit your ship and get it blown up.

I just don't understand the reasoning: Diablo is a game about finding items, doesn't purchasing items kind of defeat the purpose of the game?

i realise now that they have based the entire game around the Auction House

I imagine its a nice little money earner for them

Indeed. It is the dream of any management types of any corporation. Players farm items in your random number generator, and then sell them amongst each other and you make a cool nice % on it.

Your forgetting 1 thing, they openly admitted on the Blizzard forums that drops where linked to the Auction house.

if ther's a big surplus on auction the drop chances are lowerd.

So there manipulating prices like hell.

You guys should go and read blizzard forum thread..............all those tears from nerf and server downtime. it make for a fun reading while waiting. the latest news is korea is forcing blizzard to refund d3 to some korean players that aren't satisfied with the server glitches

i hope starcraft 2 expansion HOTS will not be like this

they fix the auction house so that even if the item you sell was damage when being sold it automatically repair it self for free - took the server down another 8 hours just for this Lol
