Trouble with a type of missions

Hello everyone.

Yesterday i picked up a mission called "Carrying AIMEDS" where i was supposed to kill some pirates in a deadspace encounter and pick up and deliver the AIMEDS.

I didn't know that the AIMEDS were dropped by the npc pirates so after searching for them a while i decided to go to bed.

Today after searching online i found that the npc pirates were supposed to be dropping them so i headed back to the deadspace encounter but there were no wrecks anymore.

What do i do in this case?

Wrecks only last about two hours.

Usually if a downtime has occurred in the meantime (every day at 11:00 server time) then you can reset the whole mission by leaving that star system and coming back.

You will have to fight the pirates again in that case

Wrecks only stays in space for 2 hours (or until downtime if that comes sooner).

Your options are:
- Go to agent and fail the mission. You will lose a bit of standing for this, but not much for level 1 mission.
- Check market to see if you can buy that item from there, and then bring it to agent to finish mission.
- Petition CCP for mission reset. (I wouldn't do this for just level 1 mission.)

I suggest just failing the mission since standing loss for level 1 mission isn't that big.

That only works if mission target NPC has not been killed. Since OP did kill all NPCs but just did not take the item from wreck, mission will not reset automatically at downtime.

Minor correction, mission loot that specific typically doesn't have a market entry, you need to search for it in contracts.

(Unless something's changed recently.)
