I made a ticket on this, but got redirected here so here goes:

Would it be possible when someone is so low voice volume wise, to right click his name and up the volume?

That way one can sort it out per sperson, wich is realkly helpfull if your flying with people that are deaf-ish in RL.

Asking for both channels and fleetvoice.
I was told the master volume is the way to go, but if in a station talking a in channel and use that way the background station sounds, or while in fleet the turret sounds go up too wich doesnt help

This would be REALLY helpful actually.

Quite a few times I have been in fleet and I have had some people come through really loud and others almost a whisper.

The problem is some people can hear that whisperer fine but obviously when they turn the volume up they are then loud to that person but fine to me (I am slightly deaf btw). Having the ability to control each persons volume independantly would help greatly.

Make it happen please ccp Big smile

I have had the same situation with one of my corp-mates' mic is incredibly loud in EVE voice. I would seriously love to be able to reduce his mic volume by half.

this would be really helpfull, i think pretty much every one is getting nuts about this
every time we form a fleet we are bitching around for ever saying its to loud its to low xD
so yeah if the fc or something would get the option to manage volume lvl from all people in fleet, this would help alot

also krany if you are being disturbed by the sounds like turrent and space :) you can go to audio & chat, in the middle colum you see voice settings select the 2 buttons named "Mute sounds when I talk" and "Mute sounds when other talk"

i have these selected and it helps realy well

Fantastic idea. The ultimate solution would be automatic real-time volume normalization ... but we all know that would require far too much effort to develop and implement.

Having the option to lower/raise player volumes like what you'll find in TS3 and Ventrilo would be good.

Another option to prevent the comms-spammers that decide to blow out your speakers, is to have sound clip-detection. It's sort of a smaller-scale version of my above idea for real-time normalization, but detecting clipping is far easier than having to adjust anything. If a player starts yelling and clips the inputs, mute them either for a period of time or until they stop yelling. Problem solved.

Go go, implement!
