hi can anyone help me please i try to put my api key and id number . but i keep getting message api or id are wrong

can anyone help me please as ive done a google search but just seem to be going around in circles (maybe im getting to old for all this lol )
ive tried eve insider forums but when i search the problem there i keep getting post of people being told to stop being lazy and do a search lol

p.s im using firefox

have you tried creating a differnt api key?

i have evemon and so do thousands of others, i highly doubt the client is ****** up. sounds like a user copy and paste error tbh

I'll start out by asking the obvious, you aren't using your username and password, but in fact your api id/key? and you're sure you didn't accidentally copy the access mask instead of the id? (I've done the last one myself >_<)

well i did copy and paste id and api key into evemon i used pw/user name to get api

what is the access mask

Since version 1.5.0 EVEMon has switched to requiring CAK (Customizable API Key). Legacy API keys are not accepted.
So you need to follow the links that are shown in EVEMon's "API Key Importation" window accessed by 'File>Add API keys...'.
The two parameters you need is the ID of the CAK and the verification code.
