What If FW Plexes Were Like Incursions?

So while discussing the brokenness of running FW complexes a thought occurred to me and my comrades. What if FW plexs were like Incursions? What if a defensive plex were, instead of orbiting a button, fighting off the opposing factions invading NPC Fleet? Aswell as the standard LP reward you would receive isk.

How this would work:
So Instead of having just Amarr, Minmatar, Gallente, or Caldari sites that spawn in their respective spaces. You would have both defensive and offensive sites spawning in systems in their specified war zones. So for instance; In a Gallente controlled system offensive plexes would spawn for the Caldari. When the contestion begins to rise Gallente defensive site would begin to spawn containing Caldari rats. This would emulate an "invading force" coming into the system.

LP could be arranged in such a way that there would be a pay out when the systems are flipped to the capturing team or when the bar has been returned to Stable for a period of time. You would still be able to maintain the , Minor Medium and Major site system by increasing the difficulty on each level of site for both sides as a system becomes closer to becoming flipped. Greater percentage towards system capture for each new level of difficulty.

To avoid systems being farmed for isk, the isk reward could go down as difficulty goes up. Incentive for capturing the system is still there via the LP discount and greater LP reward system in place now and in that no LP would be rewarded until system capture. Sites would not have a drop off in rewards like incursions player caps do encouraging larger numbers working for longer times do to split rewards. This would possibly encourage large fleet fights rather than half a fleet unable to enter a site when needing too.

What this would solve;

-No more solo frigate; You would need to invest much time and training into your FW char
-No more farm alts moving to which ever side is winning at the time.
-Fleet comps would no longer be limited by ship size when attempting to attack war targets hide inside a plex.
-Incentive to fight would be greater since larger scale fleets would be more active flying between systems.
-Would remove the "Why capture it if they make more LP than we do" mentality, since both sides are only rewarded if they flip or maintain control of the system.
-Defensive and Offensive plexing would have the same rewards and incentives.
-There are many others I am sure I am not listing here, The list kind of goes on forever.

This would also provide a nice line of flow for new players:

-HS with Sansha Incursions - learn the ropes, skill up and make isk.
-LS FW - learn PvP (Including Capital warfare), mostly addressed towards WTs, but also with neutral threats.
-Null Sec - Final addition to the pew pew mechanics, true sovereignty warfare.

In my opinion since all of FW has been changed due to the new mechanics, why bother to hold on to the old site system.

Ok now that I have said my peace. I am ready for the trololololing to begin.

Interesting but seems like massive work (few months) and I wouldn't expect that before 2015. All I expect is simple LP / discounts rebalancing and then CCP will switch to something else - like PI+Dust and Incarna after that for example.

Good points but as with everything in eve - attempts at fixing farming usually increase it or ruin the game for beginners.
CCP can't change the plexes to stop solo frigates from plexing as it would hurt the players who genuinely plex in frigates.
Just because a few minmatars afk frig plex doesn't mean everyone does it.

The LP is not excessive if people put it in the hubs, so stopping the farmers by dropping/changing the rewards only hurts the legit FW players.

Farming would increase with having offensive and defensive spawn in the same system.
Just have an alt in the enemy - pick a quiet spot and keep the system in limbo forever by running one of each type at the same time while doubling income.

After a bit of thinking about it - I am of the opinion that defensive plexing should not have an LP reward.

If you are too lazy or greedy to defend your own home - you deserve to lose it.
