I've no problem with this if they refund the skillpoints I've put into my alt to my main. I don't use them both at the same time anyway and if one could do both jobs I can deal with that. Otherwise no, i've spent subscription money accumulating those skillpoints into that character.

Completely disagree with this, for so many reasons.

I personally use all the characters on all my accounts, ever since PI was introduced.

Though i am personally against the sort of things that nasty people sometimes use alts for, such as ganking, scamming etc, i think your solution is a bit extreme. You'd need to think of something more specific to solve the problem, rather than changing the game to such a massive degree. How about a 3 month delay after a character is deleted? Lol Or better yet, something else.

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

As someone who followed this game before beta there were never true classes. Eve was modeled in part after UO. Also they decided every account would have 3 chars before release, not whenever. I know because I was in open beta and it had 3 character slots and the same classless system.

You should probably have read a little further. You woudl have realized he was referring to other games. Not EVE.


Anyway, bad idea. I don't want to pay 15 a month for my alt who's only purpose is to be available in case my corpies get podded out of our WH. He sits there doing nothing except looking pretty in the select screen. Less than a million SP.
