As much as some of these make sense, theres a lot of subjectives, depending on whether your a serious-business fleet that can't lose a ship and must get high value kills, or a car-crash slosh-op that just wants to die in the biggest fire they can find and go down swinging.

I'd say theres a couple of rules to remember, that as long as you get these right, a lot of other sins can be forgiven:

- Make sure your fleet knows what the fleets about. If your pilots know from the get-go you are only going to engage under certain circumstances, they wont get pissy if you dont engage on a iffy fight. Likewise, if everyone knows the plan is to all come back in pods, they'll be less likely to complain when they lose a ship.

- Know when to call it a night. Some days you just get unlucky. Other fleets run away, that nullified T3 dodges through your fleet, and all the ratters POS up when your two jumps out. Yeah, its a *****, but whats worse is holding out for that one kill to vindicate the failed evening. Mainly because it wont, and secondly, because that extra 40 minutes going through 'just one more pocket, we're sure to get a kill here', is only making matters worse.

My soul is about to die a little with this statement but for once, and only once, I agree with the Goon. There I said it now I am going to shower because I feel dirty all of a sudden.

Just remember to save at least one CNR for yourself for the fight in nenn/ enaluri.

Uh, if Nenna falls it will be due to plexing, and the bunker will be taken around downtime. CNR's are going to be of no use whatsoever...

Edit: Even if Caldari gain the upper hand in open pvp and don't need to steal the bunker at downtime (they definitely have more pvpers out and about lately) CNR's still won't be of any use since the battle will be fought in plexes and the bunker is an afterthought...

2) A fail FC scouts with his alt

I scout with my alt all the time & I've seen others that do well with this method as well. While it's important to have guys you can trust scouting, there is also a important factor in seeing things first hand.

In large gangs it's very hard to do this your self and manage the gang. However small gangs it's not such a bad thing but it does sometimes get a bit busy and will cause a mistake from time to time.

Maybe you should quit helping your opponent and offer up some evidence where a good FC scouts with his alt. Big smile

That is all

^ This pretty much. (Your still a british **** btw tek <3) Lol

Also if you have a single FC in you're gang you're allready fail. People in your gang should know what the **** to do in most situations and if they don't they're either nubs or ******* retards. Everyone should have the knowledge to call targets that are either range based or ship based and if you don't have pilots that can do this they are scrubfucks. Our alliance does this. Black legion does this (sometimes from what ive seen in videos and the 2 times ive flown with them) Hydra Reloaded has done this forever and i'm sure several other Good alliances/corps do this as well.

Yeah, not sure about "never scout if you're FCing"

Sure there are good scouts that do well painting a mental picture of the grid, but they are no replacement for things you see yourself. Plus, you have some guys say stuff like "oh they have no huginns" because he had his 2008-era BS-only overview loaded. Done right, do it yourself, etc.

^ This x100000000 Or have your scout take a ******* screenshot and post it in fleet. (if you cry about taking the effort to do this , your a scrubfuck.)

Only thing an "FC" should do is get a fleet rolling , get a desto. ,yell at you're pilots if they're flying like a ******* retards and keep coms under controll.

For fights where you're going to fight outnumbered and need a VERY good warpin, there is nothing quite like dual-boxing your own scout, letting you rotate the camera as you need to, calculating approximate ranges based off this information.

If you warp at 0 to enemy gangs for every fight, then sure dual-boxing a scout is less effective.

Also, what's an Admin FC? Is that a Fleet Advert..?

Also lax comms is best comms, until you get into a fight when you turn all ~seriousmode~.
