Just figured I would drop this on the forums for anyone looking to join Heretic Nation.

As a newer corporation looking to move into piracy instead of primarily suicide ganks, I decided to start looking for an alliance. Found Heretic Nation and started talking to Az Tek. Seemed like a cool guy, and tl:dr, I gave him 1.2b for a security deposit. This was supposed to cover security issues from our corp joining the alliance.

I have no doubt he will deny it, and claim I gave him the isk out of kindness, but figured at least now a search on Heretic Nation will return at least one hit on a scam.

Trolls, proceed.

EDIT - Title edited for accuracy, this issue was handled by Heretic Nation.

What was the scam, you gave him a security deposit, but what happened next?
Did you join the alliance?
Did he refuse to give back deposit after you didnt join alliance?
Did you exchange bitter words with each other?
What was the outcome of your security deposit convo?
Are you like his girlfriend, and you just broke up?

True, but posting Eve-mails is against the forum rules...and the main point was to just get the name to come up in a search...which I did when I was looking at joining.

Yes, he said I couldn't have the isk (which I did not bother asking for), because per him, it was unrelated to the alliance.

I know, I wasn't entirely comfortable with it, but again, I could not find anything suggesting that Heretic Nation or its members had scammed anyone before.

Well you learned this lesson the hard way,It dont make sense to pay to join anyone or anything if they wont accept you on merit then its a waste of time.

If this is the case and you dont get your ISK back Az Tek will be removed from corp.
