Null or Void when fighting decent kiting pilots

I'm unsure as to which ammo I should use when engaging primarily kiting ships (Hookbills, Caldari AFs, Slicers, and Coercers)

Should I stick to null in the eventuality that some of these ships will stay out of void range most of the time or commit to void (or CNAM) hoping that the brief time I keep them in ~3K range is when I can apply most of the damage.

I've fought bad pilots who just couldn't kite properly despite having the fit. So in these situations, it is irrelevant as to which ammo I use because I can kill them . But I've fought decent pilots and it's these pilots who have me wondering which ammo I should commit to.

"Kiting" is the art of staying out the enemy's engagement range. Which ammo gives you a range bonus? Use that one.

I'm in gallente hulls so my options are blasters. This is not about Winmatar fits

Without ship type not easy to give an answer but lets go for Enyo:
Welp, a 75mm T2 gatlings has a very decent tank, speed, and still keeps a decent 200 dps +/-, the good stuff about this is that those pesky 75mm NEVER miss and hit crap at about 30km with T2 long range ammo.

Say "helloo" to kitting dudes, and at +/- 20km (disruptor range) you're just shooting slightly above Optimal so your dps is very decent and drones will make you just "lol"

*facepalm*

Look at the stats of Null ammo. It gives blasters a substantial range increase which, when paired with a Tracking Enhancer, will allow you engage a 'kiter' that's sitting on the edge of scram-web range.

And, as the person above me pointed out, you are not limited to using blasters on Gallente hulls. A Catalyst fitted with 125mm railguns and a tracking enhancer can do some nasty things at ~20km.
