You guys are brutal! Only one place in the world I really want to go, and you have to pick it. Sad

..actually, it'd be great, but I'm running up the cost of one-way and round trip flights and just that's over $1550 CAD for me. If I bump it to +/- 1-2 days it goes up. Roll ..like flexibility on my part is an issue with an airline right. Lol

Wish I could attend, but I'd be paying for it for the next 2-3 years I'm sure, even if it would almost be worth it, it's a little impractical for me right now. Don't know why Greece is so expensive to get to, but that might explain their financial problems; only the richest tourists may visit, and rich people are notorious for not spending money if they don't have too.

..wouldn't be rich otherwise, right?

Anyway, I know I could probably book a flight to Berlin or something and take a train across Europe for less while making it a 2-3 week trip, and still have it come out cheaper than the flight, but I've got other priorities right now that sort of preclude this, unless I happen to win a lottery. I never, (almost never), buy tickets; waste of money.

Maybe I should look at going to EVE Vegas; I want to drive a 200 Mph car and they got a track there with rentals. Smile

Casino's in both places.. odd. Ugh

I'm sure everyone will have a great time. I would rather sit on a beach with a little house nearby somewhere around there for 3 months or so and play EVE on a laptop than visit a resort, but that's me. I understand of course, the resorts have the amenities for this sort of thing.

Can't imagine you guys all piling into my beach house. Lol

OMG that sounds liek way to much fro airfare. Look again. you mentioned Berin and trains. From most european cities the airticket is under 200 euros. Only from switzerland is a bit more.

It's always been that way here as far as I know. I'm sure there are ways to make it cheaper, but you have to arrange and book separate flights afaik. Have to make sure you time them so you can get off one plane and make your way to a departure point for the next one, and so on. I've heard trains in Europe are crowded, but much more cost effective and manageable.

Believe it or not, the cheapest flight available that I saw was 1550 of so, and the most expensive was over $6000, which is incredible for just a flight, and I think that one had something like 14 stop-overs to get there, which would be super annoying. Some might have been transfers, but I didn't look that closely and it might have been another flight anyway.

Cheap to go to the UK and sometimes Germany though, I understand. From there, it's just a matter of figuring out how to go the rest of the way. :)

Guys, could you please provide the exact name of the hotel, that is specified for fanfest and the exact name of the city, where it would be arranged. Sorry if you already mentioned that, but I'm not native English speaker, so I don't understand 100% of the text you write.
Thanks in advance!

have fun and cya at the festival....

"must.. refrain... from revolting Greeks joke..."

Good video, but much like the guy in the video your evidence has little to do with what you are trying to prove. Put on the tinfoil hat and go sit down before you hurt yourself, repeat after me - there is no mega organized secretive NEW WORLD ORDER. There are just people in business trying to get richer, and that will unfortunately always be at somebodies expense :/

I dont like it either but "they" havn't been planning it for 100 years.

Doubt i'll make it to greece, but if theres ever a Uk fest i'll be there with bells on :D

Tickets from the uk are around £150-£190 return per person. Saw plenty of "Greece return for £51" deals but they all turned out to be fake. If anyone finds a real £50 deal please let me know :D

Well not sure what your talking about about plane flight and where your from but I'm in NY. Found many Flights for under $1000 USD round-trip. The Best I found was the Wed. Before to the Thurs after the event for $826. Not bad. Now just have to figure out what the Room costs would be and any added tourist stuff I wanna do and I might just come.
If I can do it for under $2500 that including some spending cash does not seem to bad.

When I select the triple room, the price increases much more than I'd expect! At € 61,50 per night, I would expect a price of € 221, but instead the calculation results in € 467. It seems it wants me to pay for the other two strangers. Is it possible to get a triple room and only pay for yourself?

My K/D ratio in Paintball is something like 3-1. Small target, fast legs, good shot.

Really looking forward to this btw. I hope a lot of you join us :). I'm working on my base tan as much as the Icelandic summer allows so I won't be burned to a crisp, and trying to exercise 3-4 times a week so I can dodge all incoming paintball fire.

Shocked hmm i think you got it wrong. Or i did not understood you well. The triple room in the Poseidon resort costs you 61.5 meaning for three nights you pay 184.5 per person in a triple room for these three nights.
Alone this would cost you 141 per night in a single room so 423.

Anyhow, listen. As i said if anythign seems strange or you fel the need to clarify or demend smt special, pls feel free to contact Mrs Samoili from Norstar Corporation at........ esamoili@norstar.gr

Well, you mentioned sharing the room with strangers so that the price would be 60 per night. But the registration form seems to charge me 184,50 per night instead of 61,50 per night as the form describes. This happens if I select 1 person for the Poseidon triple room.

Got it

On the booking page at http://www.norstar.gr/summerfest2012/
people are choosing multiple rooms instead of bookign just one. The number field you can choose from is not to assign persons you will have in the room (for that you choose the room section as single-double-tripple). So for this reasson you get an overpriced booking total. Please be carefull when you do these selections. Just select the room you wish to book and al will be fine then. I must addmit i fell for this one at first too. Hope to see you at the venue all.
