I am still in school and my agent send me on an exploration mission, i have lost all my probes and simply don't know how to continue from there, I can't finish without them. If i abort mission i won't be able to re-do the tutorial mission or continue. I thought at this stage agents would at least tell me what to do now without any probes. I am lost don't, know how to continue. Might have to find probes somewhere, but have not tried this yet. i just played this a week or so.

I'd imagine that you would be able to simply buy some probes off the market and continue, though I can't say for certain. Also, I believe you can fly to another 'starter system' and use those agents if you can't continue this agent's tut and wish to complete it.

Well you shouldn't have lost the probes anyway unless you let them sit for a few hours while deployed and they all expired.

Thanks, i have looked at the scanning guide vid a couple of times, now i have by 2 times found a Magnetometric at 100%, warped to it bookmarked the location. in both cases there in no wreckage around there. in one case i get a window telling me that i have to go to the second room via the stargate, but i have no clue to where to find the passkey. there is nothing to see where i warped to. i tried to fly to my bookmarked locations and still nothing around. This is beginning to **** me off. This is a tutorial mission so where the hell or how do i find the evidence? i am begining to loose patients with this game if i have to use hours on BS. When i started the mission i was guided, loosed my probes, went back to the station to buy new ones and went back to finish the mission. but now it\s silent, i have no guidance and i can't start the mission from scratch. if i abort it tells me i won't be able to continue with my agent. So i am stuck until i find this evidence that never shows up where it should be.
Am i doing something wrong?

I honestly don't think I completed that tutorial because of similar reasons. Honestly, I would just not bother doing it. You really don't learn anything you can't by just reading/scanning down actual stuff. Other than a small amount of isk and skillbooks.

If you're really interested in learning how to play, I would recommend joining Eve University. They are a great organization for new players struggling to figure things out.

Eve is hard because very little is explained. Not because it's (too) hard.

Seems like you may be having some problems with the tutorials - you may want to try the How to Survive EVE Online video walkthrough series by E-UNI Professor Seamus Donohue:

They should get you started, and explain some of the mechanics.

That passkey was given to you by your agent when you accepted the mission. If you didn't move it to your cargohold, then it is still in the stations Items-hangar.

Also, if the site does not have acceleration gate leading to next room, then you were unlucky and found old site which isn't active anymore, and you just need to find another one.

In most cases they send you to a place that has a container in it - then you go to the container and get a Proof of Discovery chit. So you're not necessarily looking for an actual wreck. You may or may not have to use an Analyzer or Code Breaker to open the container but that's what it is - a container - not a wreck.

As to lost probes. In your scanner you have a Tab for System Scanner. Under that tab you have five buttons, 4 on the left and the map on the right.

The first button is Analyze.
The second button is to command your probes to return (what you should have hit before you left space).
The third Button is to connect to lost probes. Hit this button and you will re-establish a connection to your lost probes, if they've not gone away.
The fourth button is to destroy your probes.

Thanks to you all for the help, Everything went smoothly on 4th attempt. I was beginning to believe something buggy around.
