There were 8 bids. It's an auction. I can bid again and it cost me nothing to try. There was no downside.

Well - After checking up on what you are talking about. Seems that I:

Saw Ì got out-bidded. Stopped checking
Got a baby
Found out I "won" after the other guy ran, some weeks after (In the last couple of days)

So...
Guess I ran then :D

I like this initiative very much! As a trader, it makes a lot of sense to me. In one month I could easily turn 400m isk into more than a plex value. I would participate in your proposal if I needed the capital!

Seems like the best plan here is to make 4 alts and keep at the bottom of the bidding until the people who aren't planning to scam are run off. Of course, that runs the risk (if another person is doing the same thing) of reducing the expected yield of the scam to extraordinarily low amounts.

tl;dr I would be shocked to see you get anywhere near 12 Plex at the end of the month.

Works almost as well with one. I'll be the first to admit that I don't pay too much attention to MD, so I have no idea what the current winners histories are (clearly not known scammers).

Good point. I greatly prefer Jita, but will accept any location in contiguous high-sec.
